An Staute –
This is the most challenging sew I have ever done. Took me quite a while to finish, but omg the result <3. the instructions are like a whole sewing book. i've learned so so much from this!
Carrie Wilson –
This pattern is not near as complicated as it looks. It was so much fun to watch come together and you can’t help but be proud of the result! It will definitely get compliments!!
Beth Woodhauson –
I love this coat!!!! It’s looks so impressive and the instructions are great. I enjoyed taking my time and getting my finishes just right at each step.
Jackie Henderson –
This was a big pattern! Not horribly hard (Thanks to the excellent turotial!!) but there is a lot to it. The little options look like a lot of work, but they really aren’t considering how much they add to the look. I am glad that I made this, even though it scared me. I am getting “Wows” all around and my kids are wanting their own! (Not till after Christmas sewing!!!) Go ahead! Give it a try!!
Lim Boon Kuan –
Loved this pattern, though there were many times i wanted to hurl it out of the window. but that is because there are quite a couple of 1st time techniques for me in this pattern. Namely the welt pockets which were tricky. the slip stitching was fine but tedious. however i am very very glad that i completed it. and the result is absolutely worth every drop of sweat. its great drafting, i loved how every notch matched up and the final look AWESOME!
Meg Fleshman –
While lengthy, this was a very satisfying sew. I appreciate the clarity of the instructions that help the maker stay organized with the many pattern pieces and the steps are broken down nicely to assemble this coat one step at time. The coat came together well even with personalized alterations made to account for narrow shoulders, shorter arms and torso. I like the classic trench vibe and am happy to have this in my outerwear wardrobe.
Val Berkenpas –
I really enjoyed putting this together. I did a small full bust adjustment and used wool so it was a bit heavier than the pattern suggested but it still worked great. The instructions and on line video tutorials helped a lot. I would prefer that the pattern instructions refer to the pattern piece by number rather than name so I can be certain I am using the correct piece. Especially in a pettern like this where you have fabric, facing and lining pieces. But it all went together beautifully and I am already working on a second version.
Zoe Lawson –
The Taylor trench is my favourite coat at the moment. I confess that I was a bit scared of all the pattern pieces and of the welt pockets, but it couldn’t have been easier. The pattern itself is pretty straight forward and instructions are very detailed. I love how this coat can be made with different fabrics for completely different looks. I made mine with shank buttons and some added decorative stitches in the neck and belt. It’s a must pattern in any pattern stash.
Lisa Bond –
Firstly can I say if you are unsure whether you can manage this pattern, the instructions are so well laid out you will be able to do it. Never did I think I could complete something as difficult or challenging as this, but boy I have loved making it. If I can give one bit of advice it is to take not slowly and not rush this pattern. I have loved learning new techniques and cannot wait to make another one. The size was spot on for me, and I’m only 5 foot tall. I made my trench in a scuba fabric and lined with a silky cream lining. Next time I will attempt the trench with a heavier wool fabric for the winter months
Jennie Lindstrom –
The Taylor Trench is an amazing pattern, full of the details that will make you coat look professional. While this is not a fast sew, it is completely worth it! I love my new Taylor Trench!
Emily Schimelfenyg –
A beautifully designed woven pattern. The tutorial is so helpful, it is clear and takes you step-by-step for a professionally finished final product
Katie Kennedy –
This blazer is stunning! I’m not going to lie, this project took me many hours, but the end result is incredible and I’m over the moon that I able to sew something so professional. The tutorial is lengthy and easy to follow and gives you clear instructions, so don’t feel intimidated.
Deborah Ellenden –
Amazing jacket with flattering fit. Can be made into both a formal and informal jacket with different fabric choice. Perfect for a wardrobe builder.
Kirsten Welch –
This is another great pattern! I’ve never made a fitted jacket before and enjoyed the detailed instructions. The jacket is so well made and has such fun, unique features, you will have to make yourself several!
Alyssa Finn –
This pattern is well worth the challenge! I am a seasoned seamstress and learned a couple new techniques while making my own Tara – the outcome was lovely!
Beth Partain –
I really like how this coat turned out. Sizing was spot on. I am the lucky girl who is exactly 5’6″. Notches this pattern needs lots more notches.
Sheila Hlushak –
If you’ve been wondering how your sewing skills are processing, then this is the pattern for you. Tara is expertly drafted with many pieces and different skills needed to complete the jacket. Notched collar, front frill, facing, lining and sleeve vents make this a really fun sew. The many steps explained in detail with lots of fitting advice and pictures, will lead you to the perfect fitting jacket, you will be comfortable in and proud to wear as a “me made”.
Anusha –
“Well drafted tailored jacket .love the lapel . Very different.
Instructions are detailed with photos.”
Ruth Taylor –
A truly versatile jacket that works equally well when styled with jeans and boots as it does with a party dress and heels. It was a very satisfying pattern to sew with a professional looking finished garment. Love it!
Sarah Boses –
This is a beautifully done pattern for the classic denim jacket. It has the versatility to be dressed up as well. Fit is flattering and finishing touches are amazing!
Jackie Henderson –
What an excellent pattern to learn on! So many skills, step by step, to create a very detailed and stylish garment. I am prodigiously proud of myself for completing this pattern. Get it!
Adriana Benitez –
Rebecca Page has done it again! This denim jacket pattern made a daunting task easy to accomplish. The instructions are so well written and lots of pictures that I knew what to do the whole way through. A determined beginner would be able to successfully make this jacket. And the finishes look professional.
Adriana Benitez –
Beautiful blouse that fits and sews so easily! As always the instructions are well written to guide you in sewing it.
Alyssa Finn –
I love this classy blouse pattern! All the Nice details make the look so sophisticated!
Bernadette Aitken –
This blouse has very easy to follow instructions and many options for finishing it. I appreciated the detailed photos and notes. My blouse fit as expected from the measurements given. I like the fit and feel. I used a light weight cotton. I know it will become a staple in my wardrobe.
Carrie Wilson –
Beautiful, classy and stylish, the finish product is just that. Instructions are clear enough for a beginner to complete a classy blouse. The yokes really make this stand out.
Chaney Baxley Mobley –
The Madison is a beautiful top. It’s finishes make this pattern go from home made to boutique. It is hands down one of my favorites.
Chaney Baxley Mobley –
The Madison is a beautiful sew with wonderful finishes. The techniques used in the pattern give it a stunning professional finish. Make sure you plan enough time to give enough attention to the finishes and you’ll have an absolutely amazing blouse!
Chris M Shapiro –
The Madison Blouse is a classic Ladies Blouse made from drapey wovens. I used rayon, which was lovely. There are two styles for the placket, a collar or a lovely pussy bow. I chose the collar and I made a detachable bow for my ever changing mood. The pattern is for an intermediate level with a well thoughtout tutorial
Clare Bowes –
“This is a lovely blouse which can be worn for work, casual or dressed up, you have different style options. I made size XL with a polycotton print simple short sleeves (pleated) and plain collar.
It’s a great sew if you want to advance from beginner to intermediate, take each step at a time.”
Ann-Marie –
Beautiful feminine blouse with classic details, so many options to create any kind of look you are after. This was easy to sew and the instructions were very clear. This will become a favourite of mine with its many looks, especially the longer lengths!
Corrine Smith –
I enjoyed making this garment. I found the instructions very detailed and easy to comprehend. I did have some issues with my overlocked seams that made it hard on the gathered seams, I did restart. I am really pleased with how the garment turned out.
Franchesca Delgado –
This pattern was very easy to follow. All seams are beautifully enclosed and the fitting was perfect. I love that it has many options, especially, the alternative to sew it with or without the neck tie, which makes it versatile.
Frieda Flavianu –
What a unique, classic design with a perfect fit👌😍💗. This will be my go to blouse 👚 pattern for pairing. I am in love with this pattern.
Jennie Coffman Lindstrom –
I just made a Madison blouse and I absolutely love it. I chose to make the tie neck, short sleeves in blouse length and the result is an elegant and beautiful blouse. You will love this pattern!
Jennifer Schonhaar –
Ok. So I didn’t read the pattern closely enough about fabric type and bought some knit that I fell in love with. I didn’t realize until I was into the sew that I should have used a woven. So, I think this was a little harder because of that, but now that I’m finished I LOVE this top and want to make another one with woven fabric. I did long sleeves and just a collar no tie. My daughter thinks the buttons aren’t a great match so I’ll probably switch those out at some point. Otherwise this is a great addition to my closet. Thank you.
Jess Boaz-Head –
I love this top! The results are so professional (as with all Rebecca Page patterns). It’s quick and relatively easy, but it looks like it took a long time and a lot of hard work. Can’t ask for a better pattern than this one!
Jessica Luckert –
I’m super excited to show you my first woven shirt. I usually sew with knit fabric, so this is a big deal for me! The pattern is from Rebecca Page Patterns, the Madison Blouse. Rebecca Page really shines with this pattern. There are gathers on below the front two yokes and the back yoke. The shirt has plackets down the front and 5 buttons. The collar can either be a classic style or have this fun tie that mine has (in two different width options). The sleeves can be short or long and can be gathered at the armscye as seen here or made with pleats. The long sleeved options is a split sleeve with the cuff. The pattern also has the option of making a dress. So many different possibilities with this pattern. The instructions are very detailed with lots of pictures, so I had no issues figuring out how to construct the pieces. Truly a classic well done pattern.
Josianne Gauthtier-Mireault –
This is an amazing pattern! Really easy to follow step by step, the tuto and the pictures really clear! The fit is perfect. I feel really comfortable and pretty in my new Madison dress🥰❤️ Thank you for this beautiful pattern! Can’t wait to to sew an other one!
Ng Puay Choo –
Clear instructions and I love how the blouse turns out, fit is good.
June Butchee –
The Madison is a nice, flattering sew. You have a choice between a stand-up collar or a sash type tie. I chose the tie. You can make the Madison as a casual or as a dressy top depending on your choice of fabric.
Kelle Lujan –
The Madison blouse was one of the first patterns from Rebecca Page that caught my eye. I loved the look of the tie neck, but wasn’t sure it was my style. Then I noticed that there was a version without the tie. My daughter needs some new tops for summer and I felt this would be perfect. As per usual, the instructions were easy to follow, including the ones for the flat-felled seam technique. I chose to do the nicest finishing with french and flat-felled seams and the result in lovely. However, instructions also include a faster serged option. Overall the fit is great and was accurate to the size chart. This is a great project for an intermediate sewist or adventurous beginner.
Kelly Nicholas –
Forming a new business, I have been spending a lot of time in meetings and making first impressions. After years as a stay at home Mom, my “business” attire was sorely lacking. The Madision Blouse is the perfect piece to take me from the board room to social hour. The slim fit is flattering, and gathers (or pleats) in the sleeves and yokes give it a feminine and modern look. Construction is detailed and does take more time then a basic knit project, but the instructions are detailed and well written with accompanying photos. I would rate this as an intermediate as the structure of woven does not leave room for error in seam allowance or sizing, and it is helpful to have a prior understanding of buttonholes and interfacing. Overall, I am in love with my first Madison and can’t wait to make a dress version!
Kelly Stokes –
This is a gorgeous blouse! The pleats on the sleeves makes for a nice change instead of gathers. I did find I needed to make the sleeve a bit wider due the size of my arms, but otherwise it was a beautiful pattern to make with fantastic instructions
Khirya Littoria –
Modèle chic, coupe féminine … – Chic model, feminine fit …
Lauri Meinhardt –
The Madison Blouse is a quick sew and very versatile. The instructions are easy to follow and with the many options the styles are endless! A timeless pattern that can be worn for work or play depending on fabric choice and style.
Lisa Corriveau –
My Madison blouse turned out great! Instructions were clear & easy to follow & I was able to make some fit changes easily–a wide shoulder adjustment, as well as grading from M at the bust to XL at the hips. Folding under the gathered parts at the shoulder, back & chest to create French seams is very fiddly, but well worth the clean finish. The blouse is really lovely in a soft drapey rayon & has a great retro feel to it. Can’t wait to wear it out with a pencil skirt.
Lisa Giorcelli –
This blouse is a really gorgeous design that is quite flattering, however I have used different techniques for similar blouses/button up shirts that create a neater finish inside the garment.
Luana Furlanetto –
This pattern has a wow effect to it. I used silk to make my Madison and I love it. I am in love with all the details that make it look so professionally made. I took my time to make it, but it was absolutely worth it!
Marie Biswell –
OHMYGOSH!! I LOVED this blouse! I loved sewing it, loved wearing it and love how proud of myself that I made it! I took it step by step, did a little bit each day and voila, an awesome shirt to wear!
Melinda –
I have made three of these beautiful blouses, I love this pattern so much. This time around I made the long sleeve and love it! The instructions are clear and concise, and I will be making more!
Melinda Bailey –
There are so many options with this blouse that it is possible to make so many different looks, such a versatile pattern! Easy to sew and so comfortable to wear! can’t wait to make another
Nadine Simard –
I love blouse but it is always a challenge for me at the bust level. Now, I have the perfect pattern to make my own!
Jemma Tredinnick –
This is the perfect blouse for work. Neat and stylish! I did the version without the tie as I like a clean look and it fits beautifully.. It kind of has a saucy librarian vibe! I sewed size small in rayon and it drapes beautifully. There are a few complicated techniques but the instructions are very clear and easy to follow so it’s great for improving your skills.
Grace Elliott –
I’m impressed with my Madison blouse. It is comfortable with all the fancy seam finishes! I decided to go ahead and practice with blouses for me before embarking on button downs for my husband, and this pattern is perfect practice especially with flat felled seams. I used a border print which turned out fantastic!
Nikki McCarty –
I love this pattern! It pushed me to use wovens that I don’t work with often, and taught me something new along the way (flat felled seams). It’s delicate and classic, while being perfectly tailored for modern wear. Pairing it with Betty gave a great retro flair, too!
Querida Gardiner –
I made my Madison with a floaty fabric and made fabic covered buttons to match. It was worth the extra effort as the blouse turned out beautifuly and I have had lots of positive comments. This is a blouse that looks great with jeans or dressed up with smart trousers for work or special occassions. One for a capsule wardrobe no doubt.
Sandy Simpson –
What a lovely blouse pattern. The gathers on the bodice and on the sleeves make it feminine without being boxy and oversized. It has lovely shaping through the waist and hips and looks great with both jeans and tucked in with a straight skirt. A very versatile pattern
Sheila Hlushak –
The Madison blouse is perfect for layering or wearing on its own. The details of the sleeve top give this beautiful fitting blouse a lovely look and silhouette. I have paired my Madison with the Tara Jacket for a really polished look all thanks to Rebecca Page excellent drafting and instructions.
Siska Taslim –
I love the feminine details of this blouse!
Toni Louise Clark –
This was an amazing pattern, easy to follow and make up. Love the level of instructions provided, makes it easy to make. love how comfy it is.
Ummul Masakin –
i love everything from the tie neck to the button up style dress. this style can be casual as well as formal wear
Virginie Bissinger –
It’s not my first Madison and i absolutely love it. I love all the details and option (collar, gathered sleeves, tie, french seams) and i think this pattern is flattering all kind of sizes
Katie Kennedy –
I sewed jeans! I really never thought I’d see the day, but here we are. I was delighted to have ample instructions available to hold my hand throughout the process, and my only adjustments were for height and my luxurious calves. This gave me a huge boost of confidence and I won’t be so intimidated to sew another pair!
Julie Allen Lovegrove –
I LOVED making my own jeans! I’m amazed that I could! This pattern is so straightforward and explains every step simply, so that anyone CAN make their own jeans! And the best part is, you can make jeans that actually fit your body properly. I will definitely be making more of these!
Nali Nali –
This is my first time sewing jeans pattern and I love all the details on it. The instructions are easy to follow. The cutting is nice and very comfortable to wear. I can see myself making many more of this! I made my cool jeans with a thick cotton that has some stretch. The fit is perfected after some small adjustments on my toile.
Loren Lewis –
These were an absolute wonderful sew, once I got the hang of sewing with denim! They are such a great fit, and I love that they sit just on my belly button! Summer is approaching..FAST in Aus, and these will now be a staple in my wardrobe!!
Leigh Ann McDermott –
Wonderful pattern. This is my fourth attempt at jeans. All of the other have been a failure. Although these are a little large in my hips I think some minor adjustments and this will be in steady rotation.
Sue Parrott –
These are fun jeans to make! If you’ve never made jeans, try this pattern! Every step is very fully explained and the directions are easy to follow. You’ll get a great result with this pattern!
Anna Belle –
Clear instructions and easy to follow pattern. Waistband is a bit high and I could go a full size down at least.
Heather Luben –
Jeans that fit are so hard to find, but now, with the Jo Jeans pattern, I can solve those fit issues for myself! I can blend sizes to fit my own body, and make jeans that fit exactly the way I like, in any fabric that I choose! These jeans have lots of normal-jeans details like pockets, coin pockets, working fly and belt loops, and the option to have lots of fun on the pockets. I see many more in my future!
Debbie Prince –
This is my first ever pair of jeans and i found the instructions easy to follow and learned new seam techniques which sounds scary but are super simple. I can see me making alot more of these and shorts for summer too. Xx
Daph Né Geeraerd –
The Jo jeans is a nice sew, the pants fits perfectly when you follow the instruction given by Rebecca. I will make this jeans again!
Shaina O’Dell –
A great jeans pattern with cute accents!
Jenni Elizabeth Early –
Such an amazing pattern! With a great tutorial of adjustments and comprehensive instructions, Rebecca Page guides you all the way from muslin to a finished pair of custom fit jeans. It’s like magic!!
Mélanie Couture –
“I was really excited about this project since the month of August when I was suppose to do them (or maybe september 😉 )
When I started, everything was going fine. But at some point, thank god I was with my teacher to do them, I needed some help to understand what I had to do. Sometimes, I found the picture way to dark so we don’t see very well what we are suppose to do.
I finished my jeans this weekend. I was about to give up and take the month off, and I tried them on. OMG I was in love. They are so confortable and fit perfectly.
I’m glad I finish them. Can’t wait to wear them tomorrow night to go in a comedy show premiere! My hubby was really impress. Can’t wait to take the pictures.”
Sherley-ann Meunier –
I did a straight medium even though I was large for waist, and it fits perfectly! This is exactly my kind of skinny jeans. I had never worked with denim before, never done a fly zipper or belt loops; went like a charm! Instructions are clear, though maybe it could have more marking on the pattern, just to help beginners.
Sandy Simpson –
I must admit to being nervous about making these shorts – it was the first time for making pants with a proper fly. I was pleasantly surprised to find how simple the process was. The instructions were clear and concise and the whole garment came together beautifully. I will now attempt the jeans, complete with belt loops and contrasting top stitching.
Rachel Ellis –
This is a straight forward jeans pattern with some very nice techniques on pockets. This is a good pattern if you are sewing jeans for the first time.
Catherine Murdock –
“First time making jeans , I did enjoy it and I’m really proud I got the zip right but I feel the pattern definitely needs a zip tutorial video as it took me 3 goes to get it right.
I made the shorts and they are perfect length for me , overall very happy
Thank you “
Veronica Hartwig –
This pattern has great instructions and is very easy to sew along. Investing in a jeans needles was smart as it made sewing through the thicker folds easier. I love the fit and the way it flatters my body.
Khirya Littoria –
Well adapted fit. Accessible as an intermediary, if you take your time.
Candice Robb –
I really like this pattern. The jeans fit well even without any adjustments. Most of the instructions were very clear and I even learned a couple of new techniques.
Laura Murray –
This is the first pair of proper jeans I’ve made, and I really enjoyed making them. They took longer than I thought they would, but I think that’s mainly because I used different thread for top stitching, so kept changing thread over all the time. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and I’m really pleased with the end result.
Genevieve Lynne Grossmann –
I have been wanting to make myself a pair of jeans and I was really happy with how these turned out. They were a lot of work but it was really worth it. My jeans fit me really well and I can see myself using this pattern so much in the future.
Dési Rée –
Once you made a muslin and know what adjustments to make it is a pretty easy sew
Gabriella Hägglund –
My first real jeans that I sewn. It was really fun to learn the proper tecniques and the instructions are great as always. The fit is really good, my teenagedaughter think They look great, and that is really a indication that They really do look great
Sarah Klein –
This was a challenging sew, and I’ll.need to work on some alterations to make the jeans fit perfectly, but I’m so excited to be able to make my own jeans!
Chiara Kruse –
I made the shorts. They are perfect for summer with a fun high/low leg opening.
Frieda Flavianu –
I had fun sewing the Jo jeans. I was feeling intimidated by the zipper at first but the detailed instructions helped me in making this project a success. My daughter loves them and its the first jeans that fit her perfectly.
Jana Housková –
I have never thought I could see the jeans and its great pattern. I made one from not good material but I will definitely make another one with higher percentage of elastic.
Anna Metcalf –
Quick and easy tee with a relaxed fit! It does hit more at the high hip, so take note if you want it a little longer.
Qwinta Van Ryckeghem –
Easy pattern with clear manual. The specified steps are easy to follow. I find the dress / blouse a little too wide. Okay, it’s a loose hippie model BUT, with a slightly detailed waist, it is just a little nicer.
Zaji Kali Boyer –
This top is so good in a flowy fabric. Fabric choice is essential in deciding how poofy you want this garment to look. It really is flattering on. I didn’t have any issues with the French seams because it was explained well in this pattern instructions. It didn’t take very long to sew this top either. I look forward to making more.
Amy Kaczenski –
Love the pattern, wasn’t sure about the volume of the blouse, but after seeing photos of everyone, it looks great…still trying to get used to wearing it! Can’t wait to make more and try different fabrics and lengths!
Becca Stradling –
I love this more than I expected to. It was pretty easy, but I think I’m a little slow, so it took me some time… Worth it though! I feel beautiful and feminine in this top. I can’t wait to try it in maxi length.
Cindi Connors –
I really love this pattern. I made the top. I used the original sleeves, stay stitched and they fit the armscythe on my first try. The French seams add such a professional finish and the instructions were easy to understand.
Jackie Henderson –
I made this breezy dress for my teen daughter and she loves it. Pretty and feminine! She loves to twirl it. Yes, she’s a teen and loves to twirl! The gathered sleeves add to the charm!
Kelly Tuttle –
This was a very quick and easy sew. Instructions were very clearly stated- wish I had seen these french seam instructions when I first started sewing! A great pattern for beginners and advanced sewists alike. This is a very comfy & roomy top.
Hannah Goulter –
Very easy sew, nice slouchy basic t shirt pattern
Kirstie Balding –
Some great techniques to challenge the beginner sewer (gathering, roleau loops and bias finishing). Love the floatiness and forgiving fit, would be great made up in something very lightweight or sheer for a great dress to throw on our your swimwear.
Krystyna Czerwiec –
This garment is very easy to sew (if you use serger). It is in boho style, so blouse is loose and gives you impression to be enormous (I would be happier if top of it was more tailored). It looks great with slim jeans.
Laura Walker –
I really enjoyed making this pattern and loved the finished piece! It came together surprisingly fast and the french seams and bias binding gave the dress a beautiful finish. I will definitely make this one again!
Patricia Beidegårdh –
Fun and beautiful dress love it
Shirley Soon –
I made a toronto day dress in top length! I really love the style of it. The instructions are so detailed and easy to follow. This is a quick sew to me, the longest time I took is on the gatherings. Im looking forward in making a knee length toronto day dress next!
Jacinda Loydl –
Love this pattern, super comfy and flowy! Instructions are easy to follow and with a bit of knowledge and skill of sewing behind a great easy sew!
Nicole Flanagan –
The Toronto day dress/ top is a fun flowy design perfect for light weight fabrics with lots of drape. Lots of length options available. A quick sew with a serger and sewing machine.
Irene Grimes –
“Great pattern, with step-by step, illustrated, easy to understand instructions – even for a novice! (especially for a novice). It is only made better by the options that are given – there are several ways you may finish inner seams for example.
The garment is comfortable and flow-y; it can be dressed down for a shopping/errands day or dressed up with a belt and statement necklace for a dinner night out!”
SSeem Sing –
It was overall simple uncomplicated sew till sleeve attachment where I think additional pictures might have helped.
Angie Kyp –
The Toronto is a very comfortable top or dress. The instructions are very thorough and allow you to make a garment with really nice and neat inside as well as out. It is the perfect spring top or dress that can transition into summer, especially when made with light fabrics.
Mary Acosta –
Love this pattern not hard to follow and loved the flow. Only had trouble turning the loop cause the casing was so small.
Victoria Williams –
I LOVE this pattern!! It is such a quick and simple sew – but the finish on it is so professional looking – youd never guess its been whipped up in a few hours! It is so easy to make this tee look different using different choices of jersey – prints , plain, different weights or my favourite mixing up patterns, You will need one for every day of the week – I know I do!!!
Frieda Flavianu –
I made the sleeveless version and I was amazed by the outcome. The instructions are very clear and straight forward.I fell in love with the length, the fit and the design. Very appropriate for my day job. What I saw is what I got 😍😍
Sabrina Ropp –
This dress is a beautiful woven dress with a hidden zipper and shaped bodice and a comfortable ease in the waistline. It is a relatively quick and easy sew for all seasons. I love this dress!
Hannah Bnana –
Love the fit and flare of this dress. A very useful pattern as you can make it as dressy or casual as you like, it all depends on the fabric choice.
Heather Luben –
This is a fun, flattering sew that can be done in a variety of materials. I chose a lighter weight silky print. The instructions are excellent, and blending was easy between the sizes. I found it to be slightly on the large side, but not too much that I needed to adjust it. That may be due to the fact that my fabric did have a slight stretch to it. I may try a straight L, or even a M/L in the future. I love the length of the skirt and the pockets option especially! Being a teacher, I choose my clothes based on if they have pockets or not 😉
Heather –
This pattern has a lot of ease built in so may not be as form fitting as some may like, solved easily with a belt! The pattern is easy to follow but I ended up with excess fabric in my skirt, maybe as I fell in the middle of my measurements range. Makes a lovely 1950s inspired dress that can be dressed up or down. Wearing mine to work today hoping for positive comments!
Kirstine Davies –
It was a nice new challenge to include French seams and pockets at the same time. I really enjoyed the process and loved the clear instructions to achieve the sleek finish. It is a great fitting dress ready for summer or winter ball.
Michelle Mason –
I made this for my 12yo daughter and it looks amazing and she feels like a princess, the instructions take you through a step at a time and at the end I had a beautiful dress for her to feel fabulous in
Wanda Boden –
Love this pattern and plan on making more to add to my business wardrobe! The lined bodice gives great structure and the cap sleeve just enough coverage for wearing without a blazer.
Julie McKinley –
Delightful Dora!! Great “learning dress”! With the amazing directions this dress is a quick sew and beautiful confidence/experience builder! Invisible zippers, french seams, stitch-in-the-ditch, so many needed skills to practice!
Rebecca Hinds-Brofft –
Beautifully darted for shaping and comfort in woven fabrics!
Andrea Whitrow –
The pattern was easy to follow and the detailed step by step instructions make it super easy for any level of sewer to complete. I found the sizing to be slightly on the large side but again, the instructions give plenty of hints to fit the garment to your personal shape and size. The dress is very versatile and could be used from a casual day dress through to s stunning after 5 piece – depending on fabric choice
Pamela Stump –
This dress went together very quickly and fit perfectly when made to my measurements (I picked the size indicated by my measurements, adding a tiny amount at waist and for length). Easy dress for a confident beginner to make. I made mine in brushed cotton that looks like wool flannel – so it looks dressy and feels oh-so-comfy!
Chelsea Skarphol –
I love this dress! It does fit a bit looser than is my personal preference, so I’ve opted to size down since my first version. But I love the lines of this dress and its classic silhouette. It was a lot of fun to sew up, and it gave me a chance to practice some more fine sewing techniques that I don’t get to use very often. It was a lot of fun to make, and since it’s perfect on its own or with long sleeves underneath for cooler weather, I’ve already got a several more of this dress in my “to be sewn” list.
Jennifer Lichak –
Dora has a lovely vintage feel to it! With a structured bodice and flared skirt with pockets! Make it casual or fancy depending on your fabric choices. This dress is a lovely addition to your wardrobe.
Stacey Kay –
Great pattern for the confident sewer. Very flattering for all sizes too
Agnes Hegedus –
I am very pleased with this pattern. I have D bra cup size, so I always have to do FBA on all the patterns that are not specifically designed for fuller bust, but now it was enough to blend between two sizes. The bodice fits nicely and the skirt is simply elegant. I’ll sew more of it.
Teressa Campbell –
I’m really happy about how this dress turned out. I was wary about the invisible zipper, but the pattern description helped me realize that I had done this kind of zipper before. The instructions on this pattern were easy to follow and it was a fairly quick sew. I can’t wait to use this pattern again!
Wieke Heikoop –
Love the fit of Dora, really nice dress to wear, even now in fall in Holland. To fit in a blind zip and do the lining was a challenge for me who’s working with knits only. But it worked out fine. I made XL according to size sheet but It was way too big; next time I will try a M
Kat Churchill –
Very straight forward sew, very detailed instructions. I now have a love for french seams and in seam pockets. Highly Recomended
Tomorrow Hughes Papaleo –
This dress does require some patience and for you to take your time with it being partially lined and having French seams. The dress, however, is WELL worth it. It turned out completely cute and I’m super proud of the end result!
Shaina Mack –
Dora is a classic and timeless dress pattern which would look amazing yet different in multiple fabric types. I LOVE that Dora only requires around 2 yards of fabric while not compromising on a semi-full skirt. The optional horse hair braid hem also makes the skirt fuller if this is the look you are going for. Dora is a quick but also affordable dress pattern! Love it and will be using this pattern again!
Kirstie Balding –
Love, love this dress.! Such a classic flattering shape which can create a different look depending on material used. An easy sew for a competent sewer but an absolute beginner would also enjoy/learn new skills (darts/invisible zipper) and get a great result because it is such a well cut pattern with great instructions. I’ll be making many more Dora’s, my new workwear staple!
Sherley-Ann Meunier –
Great pattern! Well drafted and instructions are clear. I do prefer a tighter fit at waist so I just took of half a inch on both side in the back and it’s perfect! First invisible zipper for me, but with photos and instructions, I did good
Amber Flanary –
Loved this! Perfect for a winter dress look. The directions not using a serger looked a little overwhelming, but in the end it wasn’t as bad as I anticipated.
Danielle Watson –
I found the pattern easy to follow. The dress looks amazing and is the most beautifully constructed garment I have ever made. The French seams and lining hide all the raw edges which makes the inside so clean and pretty. People are amazed that it is homemade. I love the shape and it’s so comfortable to wear. Overall a wonderful pattern and I can’t wait to make more!
Vicky Hughes –
Lovely easy, clear instructions. I’ve never lined anything before or inserted a zip but managed well! Dress is a very flattering fit, I love it!
Luana Furlanetto –
I really like this pattern, very easy and quick to sew with a serger! However, I did it a length in between the two proposed, which is the perfect length for the office (I already used it 😊). I’ll probably make more in different colors!
Amber Stefanick –
I really enjoyed sewing up this pattern. The instructions were clear and I like that it has the option for buttons or other fasteners if desired. With the option for different lengths, this pattern is a versatile wardrobe staple.
Emily Frank Schimelfenyg –
Great pattern for fall. I love the side vent detail. So comfy.
Jenni Elizabeth Early –
This is such a cute cardi! I’m super-excited that RP decided to design this one, as I have been searching for this look for a while, and RP patterns have the most thorough directions in the patterns I have seen. This one is more of a traditional look with buttons or snaps, optional pockets, and set-in sleeves, and it can either be a duster cardi length or a top length. I’m going to make so many of these!!
Samantha Burton –
I like the end result of this cardigan. Nice design, easy to put together. Buttonholes on my machine were a bit tricky, but I was able to get them squared away. I used fluffy/heavy sweater knit and there were times that it seemed impossible to be able to sew, but I managed. Great pattern!
Michelle Talaski –
Quick and easy sew. Fit was great. I did have to adjust for my height as I’m a petite.
Juliana Garibaldi-Appelhof –
I liked Keeley! It was easy to sew.
Terri Shaver –
This was a very easy and fun pattern to complete. I had no issues with the fit or construction and actually made two! I see more in my future. No changes or suggestions. A great and versatile garment!
Leigh Ann McDermott –
A beautiful pattern for an easy comfy sew. Additional add-ons would be awesome! I have made 3 already. My third I hacked into a fall lined jacket with a hood.
Jamie Adler –
Oh my! Such a quick duster style midi cardigan to sew. It only took about an hour after cutting the fabric. The next one will be waist length. Thanks for this wonderful pattern!
Rachel Loper –
This is my new favorite fall cardigan! It’s easy to make and there are so many possible variations of the pattern that it’s going to be impossible for me to make just one.
Linda Riggall –
Loved making this cardigan. I was initially quite nervous making this item as there were a lot of firsts for me. First time sewing knit fabric, first time using an overlocker, first time grading a pattern! I needn’t have worried at all though, this pattern has given me so much confidence to sew more. It came together in no time at all, which, when you have 4 kids and dogs, is a blessing. I did in chunks at a time so making it fitted in perfectly with nap times etc. I am definitely going to make more; not only have I had loads of compliments, it’s incredibly easy to wear. My girls have requested a Keeley of their own too. In my experience getting a preteen and a 7 year old to agree is no mean feat so it must be good.
Lisa Corriveau –
The Keeley Cardigan is a quick sew requiring only easy construction skills. The result is a close fitting (though not fitted at the waist) cardigan that makes a great extra layer for cooler weather.
Adawiyah Hairuni –
I love this pattern. An easy and fast sew. Great instructions and most importantly the fit is great.
Franchesca Delgado Garced –
This pattern was extremely quick and easy to put together; and with amazing stylish results. Every step was clear and helpful in the process. Thank you for another amazing pattern.
Anien Salomons –
“Yet another quick outerwear sew. I’ve made circle cardi from RP before and this one has same characteristic. Quick and easy sew for beginners.
I made size S with jacquard knit fabric. The sizing is quite fitted for a cardigan, I recommend size up especially when you want to use this in the fall and winter time for layering purposes. “
Nikki Loans –
Absolutely loved this sew. It was exactly what my daughter wanted in a Duster cardigan, & it fits perfectly for her size.
Shaina Mack –
The Keeley Cardigan is stylish, quick and easy to make with endless possibilities. With multiple length options, optional side vents, optional pockets and buttons the whole cardigan can be customized to make something truly special and unique. I loved sewing this pattern and now I’m probably going to make a bunch of these in every color!
Chantal van Drunen-Ezendam –
For years I had a favorite long cardigan. The sleeves were just a tad too long, not an easy find when you’re 6’1″. That cardigan was in desperate need of replacement and along came the Keeley cardigan. This pattern is such an easy sew (really incredibly fast to make). I made the midi version and hacked the pockets a bit to make it look like my old favorite cardigan. I’m not sure the one I made now will be my new favorite cardi (the fabric is a bit itchy), but I will make another version with less itchy fabric for sure. I love the pattern! And probably that one will be my new favorite cardigan.
Melanie Couture –
“I just loved to do this pattern. I made my keeled in under an hour. The instructions were great and the result is just perfect! I was wearing it today into a event, and everybody was telling me how beautiful it was. I will recommend this pattern to all my sewing friends for sure! Can’t wait to share 🙂
I made the long option with pockets. I’ll make few mores to were that all week long.
“
Joanne Castillo –
This is such an easy sew. Perfect for all season. Can be worn as cardigan or a top when button closed.
Emma Polley –
This is a surprisingly quick, easy sew, not to mention super stylish. It’ll be hard to stop at just one!
Melissa Dale –
Wow, what a simple sew but the end result is so satisfying! I’m looking forward to making many more.
Pamela Munnerlyn –
This was a really quick and easy sew. I did it in one day from top to bottom. I know I am going to love wearing it this winter and will be making more.
Laura Walker –
This was a super quick sew with easy to follow instructions. I really enjoyed sewing this up and the final result was fantastic.
Kelly Tuttle –
I loved making this cardigan. It was fun to sew, the steps were easy to follow and the fit was spot on for me. It is very comfortable and I have already begun to plan making another one.
Nikki Loans –
This was a delight to sew, and my daughter absolutely loves it – a winner!
Deb Sendelbach –
The Keeley Cardigan is a great pattern for beginners. It has very well written instructions with helpful hints along the way. The pattern offers different hem and sleeve lengths as well as an option to include buttons, which is a feature that sets this cardigan apart from other cardigan patterns on the market.
Alexandria Phillip –
Absolutely loved this pattern! It was my first time doing sleeves but it was way easier than I thought. Very quick and straight forward sew especially if you choose to go without the butttons.
Kainui Nihipali –
The Ladies Keeley is awesome! It’s a quick sew & quicker with a serger. I would recommend this pattern to family & friends. I love the options for pockets & length.
Kirstie Balding –
Keeley is such a quick and easy sew, perfect for those wanting to try working with stretch/knit fabrics. Enough variations to create different looks with different fabrics, instruction easy to follow so even an absolute beginner will have themselves a great looking cardigan in no time!
Khirya Littoria –
Flattering cut, quick and easy sewing, ideal for beginners.
Nichole Merren –
Easy to follow pattern that makes the cutest finished cardi! This will be a staple in my wardrobe for all seasons. I’ve made 3 in the last week and have more ready to sew! Makes the cutest Mommy and Me matching sets using be Kids Keeley pattern too!!
Nicole Flanagan –
I love this cardigan and it’s options! Fit was great and it hangs so nicely. I like how different thicknesses of knit can be used for a different look. The only think I’m going to change on my next one is lowering the pocket placement (but I’m tall so this makes sense)
Terri Pettigrew –
OMG this is such an easy and beautiful sew! It took me no time to whip this baby together and I love it! I can’t wait to make more!
Jessica Luckert –
I’ve always wanted a long cardigan to wear around the house in the winter, and to look stylish in while out. This is it! Such a cute pattern. It fits well and was a fast sew without the extra options.
Heather Luben –
What a quick, cozi sweater to sew! Love the long option for layering and cuddling up in! I used a soft waffle knit that is very cozy. I added buttons, but will likely wear it open most of the time and may leave the buttons off in future sews. Would work well in a variety of knits, depending on how warm you want it to be. I found the directions easy to follow, and the pictures were helpful in understanding what needed to be done in each step.
Lauren Mills –
I liked the pattern. Saw some confusion about the number of buttons on the top. It was a quick and easy sew. I definitely think it would be great for a confident beginner. I love the length all around. The instructions were pretty clear. I used my serger for almost all the construction.
Pam OFlynn –
Keeley is a super easy, but fashionable ladies cardigan. Fit is spot on, instructions are detailed and end result is beautiful!
Alieke Enders –
Wonderful pattern to make. The vest can be made quickly and is very versatile.
Yolonde Bates –
I found this to be an easy to understand and sew pattern. Definitely beginner friendly. A beginner could cut, sew and be wearing in 2 – 3 hours.
Amy Strawser –
The Keeley cardigan is a fairly easy sew that produces a classic staple for every fall wardrobe. I love the fit, sometimes midi cardis can feel and look a bit robe-like but this one does not at all. I can’t wait to try another with a different type of knit and contrasting pockets and neck band for a custom look. This is a great stash buster for all of those sweater knit sales!
Nadine Simard –
This was a quick project with only a few pieces. I liked the tips provided in the instructions to stabilise the neckband for the snap or button holes.
Amy Kaczenski –
Love the fit and look! Perfect layering piece to add to a wardrobe!
Anna –
Simple sew, quick make.
Linda Berendsen –
I didn’t know that I would love a long cardi until I tried this pattern. The fit is beautiful and I love the length options, the pockets and a split at the side. It’s quite a quick sew and if you have a bit of experience with knit it’s very easy. I love the step by step instructions and the tips for sewing with knit. I will definitely make another one .. or two!
Karla Holmes –
This is such a quick and easy pattern! I got it all in about an hour from cutting to hemming. Super quick to put together. The instruction was okay. I would change the sequence in some parts but that’s just my preference. otherwise, it is a great pattern and I will definitely make a few more for the upcoming cooler weather.
Mary Acosta –
Love this pattern and plan on making more
Patty Schultz –
This was quick and easy to make. I love the fit, and so many fabrics work with this style!
Lim Boon Kuan –
Great! Very flattering!
Katarina Vaclavikova –
I just love this pattern. Very easy to follow and very quick to complete. I made size smaller comparing to the chart but that is because I like more fitted clothes. And it is really nice.
Erica Nemnich –
Another great pattern
Sharon Courtney –
A simple easy to follow pattern for knit fabric which gives a lovely on-trend look. Clear instructions as always to give a quality finish. Superb pattern.
Jessica Smith –
This cardi is very comfortable and fits well, easy to make with just a regular sewing machine and basic sewing knowledge. Very pleased!
Nicole Lueke –
Another great pattern from Rebecca Page. I love the length options and the flexibility this pattern offers in terms of options. This is a great cardigan to make for casual or office wear and it sews up quickly.
Maggie Tamanini –
Keeley was so simple and looks great! The sizing was perfect! It is definitely beginner friendly, but I think doing the buttons and button holes would make it a bit more challenging. I chose snaps for the sake of time and ease and I think that was an awesome option to provide. My arms are a bit longer than average, so the sleeve length ended up being a little off, but I generally push up all long sleeves regardless. The instructions were super easy to follow and I didn’t have any issues making this beautiful cardigan.
Candice Robb –
This is a very beginner friendly pattern. It was quick and easy to sew and the end result is a beautiful wardrobe staple that will get a lot of wear!
Becky McGill-Wilkinson –
I love this cardigan! It was a super easy and fast sew, perfect for a beginner. Don’t be intimidated by the buttons! Buttons and buttonholes are easy, and if you’re REALLY intimidated, you can just leave it off. I made this in less than an hour and have worn it multiple times since I finished it! I will be making many more.
June Butchee –
The Keeley Cardigan is a quick, satisfying sew. It comes in two lengths, hip and duster. I made the hip length in a black cupro. You can use any type of knit fabric you like for the look you want. Keeley can be a lightweight cardigan or a sweater. French Terry would also work. My cupro version is a nice lightweight all year round garment.
Taiko Karen Rai –
Easy and quick sew! I had some knit blankets I wanted to upcycle and this pattern worked great for that. Warm and cozy for Autumn.
Sarai Orama –
Oh my goodness this is such a quick and rewarding sew! So in style and comfy too!!
Sarah Klein –
I love this sweater! Its comfy but professional looking, and will.be perfect to wear to the office.
Zaji Kali Boyer –
This cardigan was a breeze to sew up! I feel as if the fit was true to size. The only adjustment so made were for height. I’m 5’10 so in order for it to hit me at the knee I added 2” to the bodice pieces and 1” to sleeves. The instructions were very clear. I always love the quick version to have at my sewing table. I love the style and I can’t wait to make more of these!
Gabrielle Carisse –
So fast and easy to sew. I really enjoy sewing a whole garnement in an afternoon, and even more such a beautiful one!
Sherley-Ann Meunier –
Great pattern! Quick sew and easy to follow. I had a lot of compliments
Shauna Richards –
I love the look of this cardigan! It is comfortable, cozy, and great for fall. I made mine a couple sized larger than needed because I wanted something baggier and it still feels great and, as weird as it may sound, its baggy in the right way. The only thing I don’t like about mine is the material I used! Will definitely be making many more Keeleys in the future!
Jennifer Voss –
I loved the options on this one! There’s a million cardigan patterns but I was happy I found one in duster length with 3/4 sleeves
Kirsty Bucholz –
I whipped the cardigan up in an afternoon. It was perfect for the event I was going to were I needed something light to go over the top. The Perfect addition to any wardrobe.
Darlene Perry –
Loving this pattern! Keeley will take you through all seasons, as a cover up, a topper, or even as a dress. Excellent layering piece for fall and beyond.
Gwen –
These pants are sooo cozy! SO quick too.
Shona Young –
I love these pants, they are a tad long but that’s easily adjusted. I will be making loads and loads of these.
Deb Carpenter –
“The Pippa Pants have been on my radar since last year and this spring I finally got to make them! The tiled pdf was easy to tape together, the instructions were clear, and the pattern pieces came together like a dream. The resulting pants fit absolutely perfectly, the only modification I made was to shorten the leg length to fit my height. If you’re new to making trousers/pants then I would highly recommend starting with this pattern.
The pants are sooooo comfortable, they will be the perfect addition to my spring capsule wardrobe! “
Amy Joy McDOnnell –
I really love these pants. I was in between sizes (S/XS) so decided to make the smaller size. The fabric I chose wasn’t as stretchy so it was a tighter fit than I planned but still wearable and really comfy. I plan on making many more in a stretchier fabric. Instructions were very clear and simple. It was a quick sew and great for beginners!
Donna Lowe –
I kept seeing this pants and questioned whether it was for me. After making it I am certain it is for me. I love the fit and the style. It is a great pants and is very versatile. It has even convince my daughter to want one.
Julie Lawson –
These pants were so easy, and fit so nicely when finished. Can’t wait to make more!
Grace Elliott –
I love my Pippa Pants!!! I made the size Large from a star print DBP, and they are so comfortable. My teenagers both want pairs now, and my toddler wants “twinkle twinkle pants like Mommy.” The pattern is so straightforward that I’ll teach one of my teenagers to make her own!
Nicki Hibbits –
The Pippa Pants pattern is the first clothing pattern where I’ve worked with knits. I chose the flat waistband and wide leg option, so there were only 2 pattern pieces. The simplicity of the sewing directions allowed me to focus on learning how to work with knit fabric. Without the suggestion in the directions to sew a muslin first and the provided tips for fitting, I would have been disappointed with my pants. Thank goodness, I followed the suggestion! By making a practice pair with inexpensive knit, I was able to work out the issues with fit and in the end sew a pair of Pippa Pants out of my good fabric that fits comfortably and I feel good in. This pattern definitely helped me to experiment with learning and sewing knit fabric.
Tara Erwin –
I got a mystery knit box and didn’t know what to do with one piece and then I got this pattern and it was so perfect for it! I love the wide leg option especially- makes the final sew extra comfy and perfect for those days you’re chilling around the house. It’s such a quick and easy sew too.
Bridget Taylor –
“I love these! I had a knit fabric that I’d planned to use for a dress.. until it arrived and I realized the stretch went the wrong way. This pattern worked perfectly with the style of fabric. I’ve also made a few in the kid sizes and they’re super easy for different knits.
I do plan to try them again in a fabric I’ll wear out of the house, but for lounge pants as well as comfy yoga and bellydancing (gotta exercise somehow in the house!) my stripey light knit works just fine.
I did the simple waistband method and it fits perfectly, they don’t slip at all. I think I spent longer *thinking* about doing these than I did in the actual making of them! If you’re just getting started in knits, definitely try this one out. It is a great beginner pattern that results in something super easy to wear. “
Gabrielle Carisse –
Really easy and fast to sew. I made a pair in less than hour from cutting the fabric to finish it all. And so comfy to wear. Can either be a pj bottom or something more work suitable depending on the choice of fabric.
Laura Stephen –
I love the pippa pants. They are a quick and easy sew and are so comfortable, I wear them at work and and home.
Jennie Means –
One of the easiest knit patterns I’ve made. Can’t wait to make more!
Tricia Nguyen –
The Pippa Pants are very easy basic for beginners with a few options to change things up. Perfect for lounging in for a stay at home day, or use a dressier fabric for everyday use. I made my pair in a soft double brushed poly and love using them for a better then basic pj pants.
Susan Pearson –
These pants define the concept of comfort! I wore them and both my daughter and daughter in law want me to make them some. They could easily be dressed up for work pants, or worn with a tee shirt around the house. I’m definitely going to make some more of these!
Kellie Brown –
Peggy was such a quick sew while still being completely flattering and well fitted. Another great RP pattern.
Ellin –
By far my favorite pattern, it’s so quick and versatile with great options included body con or pencil with or without a walking vent. It’s the quickest sew printed cut made in 30 minutes. I already have several in my wardrobe for work and play; Peggy is definitely a staple to have in you pattern collection
Nadine Simard –
Hello, This was a really quick sew and the fit was perfect. I see a few more in the near future. Thank you
Jennifer Vincilione –
The Peggy is a easy and fast Sew! Plus you get 2 options! Nothing like a sexy body con skirt for a date night.
Emily Yearwood-Lre –
The pattern was really simple to follow and clearly explained. Love that I can print just one size. Also appreciated the fabric selection guidelines. I finished the skirt two weeks ago and have worn it three times already. I had no idea I needed pencil skirts in my life but I do!
December O’Sullivan –
This pattern is so perfect for building your professional wardrobe! It was a super quick and easy sew, and the result was beautiful! I used a ponte knit for mine and wear it to work all the time!
Tara Marshall –
I am absolutely in love with this skirt. Super easy to make and the fit is spot on!
Nicole Librojo –
i love the fit of this pencil skirt! the darts at the back give it the shaping at the back. It’s also awesome that there are two fits in one pattern.
Michelle Wellstead –
Such a fabulous beginner pattern, and, being a pattern for knits it is very forgiving. There are no zips or buttons or fastenings of any type, which keeps it a very simple, and quick sew, perfect for a beginner wanting a great wearable skirt that will look good and be very forgiving if you make any mistakes. I love the fact that there are instructions for both sewing on an overlocker as well as a standard sewing machine, and having just recently purchased an overlocker and being very inexperienced on it I found those instructions extremely useful.
Marie-Ève Benoit –
Wow! That was my first time making a skirt, and it certainly won’t be the last with this pattern! I just love it! // Wow! Je cousais une jupe pour la première fois et ce ne sera certainement pas la dernière avec ce patron. Je suis en amour avec le résultat, tout simplement!
Marie Biswell –
This skirt was so easy to make and is super comfy to wear – I plan on making more as this skirt is fast becoming my go-to clothing!
Layni Van Huyning –
This was my first time ever doing a dart and it was so quick and easy I couldn’t believe it! I love how clear the instructions are and how quick this sew was! I will definitely be making more.
Josianne Gauthier-Mireault –
Wow! I love that kind of pattern! It’s really refreshing! It’s quick and easy to sew! I love the darts and back vent details! That makes a unique look and it’s really flattering! Thanks for this beautiful pattern!
Jessica Barajas –
I love this skirt! It’s the second clothing pattern I’ve made for myself ever, and I was able to just use the quick guide, and it only took about two and half hours. Seriously, the only problem I had was a fabric problem, not a pattern problem. It probably would’ve gone faster if I had picked a sturdier fabric. I highly recommend this, even if you’re not sure about skirts like me. It’s comfy, it’s simple, and made me change my mind about myself in a shorter skirt.
Heather Naretto –
I was really happy with the fit of the Peggy Pencil Skirt. The construction was simple, and I love the darts in the back. I used the pattern to make a super fun 80’s themed skirt. I went with the regular fit, and am eager to try the body con style out!
Chubs Pineda –
Easy skirt to sew, definitely a staple In the wardrobe. I especially loved the darts at the back which really helped shape (not usual in knit pattern pencil skirts). Love it!
Fiona Siequien –
This is such a quick and easy make! I could easily make one in every colour in just a day. Once the pattern is assembled it takes less than an hour to complete (I used an overlocker/serger). One piece of advice, if your fabric is very stretchy you may wish to size down.
Casey Bray –
Super cute and quick sew! Love the body con fit <3
Anien Salomons –
This is a quick sew. Finished it within a day (from printing to assembling, sewing and pressing). Good for beginner due to the clear step by step instruction. I personally love the quick cheat sheet
Adriana Benitez –
I loved making this skirt! Rebecca Page’s Peggy pencil skirt was an easy, quick sew with clear, easy to follow instructions. All skill levels, including beginner, can make this flattering pencil skirt. I have already re-added this pattern to my sewing to-do list.
Tasha Larson –
“Very quick sew! Very comfortable and stylish for work or a visit to a vineyard!
PS the quick instructions are missing the length for the back split”
Karla Holmes –
This pattern was so easy and quick! At first, I was hesitant to make this because I am scared of fitted skirts. Also, I have 2 little boys who likes to run and be chased by their momma. But I am so glad I tried it because the results are super awesome and I love it so much. Its very flattering and comfortable for a pencil skirt! So if you have 30 minutes of your time thinking of what to make this is it! From printing to taping until the hem is made, it only took me 30 minutes no joke! Try it you wont regret it!
Sharon Courtney –
A super-easy fast sew which results in a perfectly fitted skirt. I made one in scuba and I found it the perfect fabric weight. The pattern was very clear and easy to follow.
Kelsey Cushing –
Good fit and flattering pattern. Directions we’re clear and understandable and you’ve converted me to loving pencil skirts!
Kayla Kissane –
At first I was skeptical about adding back darts to a knit item, but this is the best fitting knit skirt I have ever made. I contribute part of that to the back darts 🙂 Quick and easy make with very clear instructions. The Peggy skirt will be one of your best fitting knit pencil skirts. Oh….and no zippers 😀
Kelly Stokes –
“This was such a quick and easy sew! Would be a great one to learn about using an overlocker/serger as most of it can be done on that machine.
So comfortable and is perfect for the office. I did make one for my 8yo daughter who measured as an xxs, but when she tried it on, was very tight over her back side, so ended up making her as xs which fits her perfectly. This was the opposite for me who measured as a 5xl over hips and 4xl waist, so cut out the 5xl front and back with 4xl waist band and it’s a bit big! Next one I’ll cut as a straight 4xl”

I’ve sewed this pattern in size M no gathered front with cotton fabric. I’ts a really simple and quick sew but, despite this, the result is sooo lovely and it’s a basic for all closets. The most difficult part is the back and front binding but, with the great instructions and pictures it turns to be really intuitive. It’s great to have the step by step instructions with the pattern.

Very nice basic pattern. Super easy to follow instructions and love how even the basic pattern has fun options. Thanks Rebecca for one more amazing pattern.

I love how easy this pattern was to sew up. The directions are so clear and helped me to add binding that looked beautiful! My husband couldn’t believe I had made my cami!
Marie Biswell –
So easy to make, I honestly can’t believe how easy it was!

This cami pattern is so quick and easy! I used fold over elastic for the first time, which was a bit of a challenge, but I still completed this cami in about 30 minutes! I can’t wait to make more!

A great top to wear either on it’s own or under other garments. I played around and made a few using both the self binding and fold over elastic options. I had never used FOE before and this was a great introduction. Great for using those slightly bigger scraps as it doesn’t need a huge amount of fabric, specially if you use the elastic option.

The Strappy Cami is a great addition to my wardrobe. It’s perfect for layering, or a sleep top or the perfect top for the Hot and humid southern weather! I tutorial is well written with easy to understand instructions. There are two options, the straight or the rouched option. I found the fit to be spot on and I will be sewing up these in several different colors!

The Strappy Cami is a super quick sew with a amazing end result. A perfect staple base garment to layer all of your amazing RP sews upon.

I really liked this pattern. I would really like to add a shelf bra option to the pattern as well.

This cami is perfect for laying with all your other favorite RP patterns! It sews up super fast (seriously takes as long to print/assemble/cut as it does to sew!) The straps are a little fiddly if you haven’t done binding before but if you take it slow and follow the detailed instructions, you’ll have a beautifully finished cami in no time! <3

Such a basic staple for any wardrobe! A quick and easy sew, and hardly uses any fabric!

“This is a great basic cami for layering or standalone! I love the gathered front option as it gives my layered outfits an appealing alternative to a smooth front (and helps hide my mum tum!). It’s well fitted and doesn’t sag so those gathers stay nice looking during wear.
The only concern I have is the binding was awkward at best to do and have this lay smooth against my body. I used a recommended fabric from the pattern and kept having sagging/drooping at the binding even when I stretched it a little (compared to the cami) while attaching. “

Fast easy sew! Straps were too long on me, so I shortened to my fit. Fun sew!

Camis are something I can’t do without, they’re a sleeping staple for me. The RP cami comes together in no time at all and the fit is amazing! LOVE 😍

This cami is quick and easy to make and great for layering! The optional elastic binding makes it even faster, and the ruched front option is a delightful option for hiding “mom gut” or showing off a baby bump.

Love this pattern, it comes together so quickly and easily. As a plus size person, it’s wonderful to have a pattern that actually only uses 1 yard of fabric. I was buying my cami’s before this because I didn’t think it was worth it to make, but this changed my mind!

Loved this pattern, made 5 of them!! So practical for Summer or Winter dressy or casual. Whipped them up in no time at all!! Thanks for another great pattern

A cami with an option which is very hard to find. I do like that there is the gathered option which will suit many ladies. The longer line of the cami makes is lovely. Quick sew, although getting a good fit with the binding will can be a little tricky getting the right fit. I would definatley sew this again.

I love how quick this pattern is to sew. You can choose to use knit binding or fold over elastic for the top of the camisole and straps and either choice head great instructions. That is the hardest step. My second time I sewed this I cut out the fabric while my kids were playing and sewed up the entire cami during my little one’s nap.

I am so happy to have this pattern available! So many times I just need something basic to throw on under a sweater or thin top without being too bulky. After some custom fit adjustments, now I can made loads in every color and design imaginable!

Such a fast sew! I finally perfected my twin needle and knit binding thanks to this pattern and have a gorgeous and comfortable new pyjama top!! (Worn with Pippa pants for pj bottoms!!)

This is a great beginner pattern. Love the fathered front. Definitely a closet staple

I love the look of this type of camisole. They are beyond cozy as well! this pattern is easy to follow and the instructions are clear. definitely recommend and I’ll definitely be making more.

on my! By far the easiest and best fitting cami pattern I’ve found! The length is perfect, coming to around the hip bone. The ruched front is a lovely extra detail for something a bit more of a ‘top’. The straight plain cami version is fantastic for any use, from an undergarment, pyjama top, vest, lining for something sheer, or a strappy cami! I cant fault this. Simply perfect.
