Nadine Simard –
This pattern is perfect for the skinny kids, it includes a button-hold elastic band making it perfect to adjust the waist band.
Anusha Krishnamurthy –
Pattern is well written even a beginner can do it . Comfortable and brilliant fit . Love the elastic and faux fly for the kids sizes .
Lisa Lazenby –
We usually struggle to find pants for my tall and narrow daughter so these Slim Fit Cargos were a perfect match for her! The details on this pattern make for a great pair of pants and the instructions for completing them were excellent. I like the faux fly option and the side pockets!
Kristen Wilson –
Love these trendy pants. So comfy and stylish for any season
Jess Boaz-Head –
This is such a unique and trendy pattern! The functionality of cargo pants with the modern look of slim fitting pants! Lovely pattern.
Beth Partain –
Great pattern. Thank you so much for the “Boy” option. He loves them and as you can see from the size it is very hard to find pants to fit him. I will be making more.
Becky Petty –
I love these pockets and you’re going to love the detailed instructions!
Elyse Clarke –
I was so excited to try these! I went with a stretch denim and left off the optimal cargo pockets for some really cute skinny jeans. The instructions get you through the ‘scary’ bits for a great result. I especially love the fake fly.
Katie Droskiewicz –
The comfy cowl is, well, SO comfy! I put it on my two month old and she couldn’t stop smiling she loved it so much! I love how warm and cozy it looks on her and how easy of a sew it was! The extra tips throughout the patter definitely helped make it a perfect fit!
Anien Salomons –
“Comfy Cowl is so quick and easy to assemble. I made one for my boy and it was perfect for a windy autumn days.
The fit is tight fitting for a sweater, so better size up especially when using heavier weight knit fabric”
Tori Priest –
The perfect pattern to make a cozy fall sweater with an oversize cowl to keep your neck warm whether it is up or down!!
Nadia Fovakis –
Easy quick sew producing a fun, practical garment.
Lisa Dawson –
Great instructions included fun to sew for my son Ill definately make more It covers part of his face for colder days
Kelly Nicholas –
There is not a lot of variety of patterns available for Boys in PDF format as there are for girls. So when I find one that has a solid base to it, I hold tight and look forward to using it in as many ways as possible. The Comfy Cowl though is one that looks amazing on my son, without any hacking required. He loves that it has “a hat” (the hood) and a pocket. I love that he looks more stylish and less like I’m letting him run around in his PJ’s. My only note is that the sizes are split into two sets of nested patterns, below size 2 and then above. Which wouldn’t be a huge deal but my slim guy is in an 18-24 month in width but size 3 in height, so I had to print more than one copy to get all of my grading done correctly. But for the quality of the rest of the design, it’s a minor detail I can handle.
Jess Mullens –
A wonderful pattern for the whole family! Very easy and quick sew!
Jen Kolar –
This is such a great pattern! You will want to make a bunch of these cozy sweatshirts. The cuffs make it a perfect pattern to size up and get a few years of wear for the kiddo sizes. My children LOVE their Comfy Cowls!
Erica Nemnich –
This cowl is super comfy and fun. Looks super cute on the baby. Next time I make tho, I will lower the cowl in the front as it’s a bit too tall for a newborn in my opinion
Emily Schimelfenyg –
I love the Comfy Cowl! So cozy and cute and a pretty fast sew.
Catherine Saxe –
This is the perfect pattern for fall. Comfy, cozy, and cute! Perfect for matching mother-daughter outfits.
Alyssa Finn –
The comfy cowl has got to be, hands down, my favorite cowl I’ve made. Every single time my kids put them on not only do THEY love it because it’s cozy but also a “hoodie” if they want it, but my husband compliments the design of it… He’s nuts over the dual “sweater” and “hoodie” aspect! My oldest loves it so much she went out of her way to point out several times that this is exactly the kind of shirt she had been asking me for over the past week. Off I go, to make some more! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the comfy cowl! It’s a BIG hit for us!
Margaret Snow Layman –
I procrastinated making this because the pocket and hood were both new to me. I don’t know why I worried. I followed the instructions and the pieces went together beautifully. I sometimes want to avoid the ironing, topstitching and other time consuming parts, but the results make it worth it. I can’t wait to make big brother a matching one!
Vicky Boucher –
Quick and easy sew. It’s so confortable, you have to get thiamine on your wardrobe! Love it so much
Bunky Bell –
Easy and quick sew
Lola Buns –
Swoon! I adore this pattern. I made one for each of my kids, including the one that’s still in utero. I can’t wait to see them all together. It looks so comfy, momma needs to for herself to complete the bundle I bought. This time….thumb holes! Thank you for yet another great pattern!
Emma Zobel –
The Comfy Cowl is a really fun and quick sew. It is so cute with the hood up or down, I really love the look of the cowl! Thank you for this awesome pattern!
Malorie McClennon –
Such a quick sew and the results are amazing!!! My girls are so happy with their hoodies and I can’t wait to make more. This is the pattern you grab when fall catches you off guard and you need something quick and warm to make!

This is an amazing fall/winter staple! It’s super cute with the hood up or down and it provides tons of warmth.
Nor Aliah Abdul Aziz –
My son loves the jogger! The pockets are great too! The only thing he not fancy is the ankle cuff. A bit tight and long
Gabrielle Carisse –
They were really easy and fast to make, and so comfy to wear! a new family favorite!
Zoe Lawson –
Great knit sew! The perfect alternative to leggings or track pants. I love the cuffs and the harem style really appeals. Comfort wear at its best.
Yulia Shikhova Korinnyi –
Awesome fitting pattern, easy to make and love the way they turn out. I will be making many more for sure!
Vicki –
These joggers are such a great fit for my cloth diapered little!
Tori Priest –
A fast sew for a fun pair of joggers! Adding contrasting pockets makes them so cool! Plenty of growing room, they will last my daughter a long time.
Stephanie Carnovale –
This pattern was such a quick sew. My son loves it!!! He has long skinny legs so it’s almost impossible for him to wear clothes from the shops.
Sara –
My son was leaving on a surprise vacation with grandma so I whipped him up a pair of Brooklyn Joggers which were super comfy for traveling. These sewed up faster then I thought they would and my son loved them. There were clear and easy to follow instructions with great photos to follow as well.
Nicci Farrugia –
This was my first time making pants so I was a little nervous, although I needn’t have been as the pattern was really easy to follow! I made a pair for both my 4yo son and 2yo daughter, I sized up for my daughter as I figure she’ll have a growth spurt soon but in hindsight I would have made the correct size as it is a really quick pattern to make, particularly the second time round. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for comfortable pants that are cute, practical and quick sew.
Nadine Simard –
This pattern was easy to extend the length to the next size. Highly recommend to use ribbing for the cuff, lesson learned in my case!
Melisa H –
Amazing pattern. My son LOVEs this and the pockets are perfect for collecting rocks, flowers, and dragon eggs.
Lisa Lazenby –
A great unisex joggers pattern. The instructions are clear and detailed. We love the pockets and the longer cuffs. This will be in repeat production at our house!
Lauren Williams –
Quick and easy! Also love that it has pockets.
Karolanne Charest –
What a fun and quick sew! Perfect all season and beginner friendly! And the fit is awesome and works on every body type! I’m in love!
Jessica Hamwood –
Such an easy, stylish sew! Perfect now that our weather is cooling down & my daughter says that they’re so comfy to play & run around in! Will be making more for sure! 🙂
Hildur Gudmundsdottir –
Quick and easy pattern that gives you a very trendy joggers. Even though it is “just” joggers you can play with the end results i.e. with color blocking for the cuffs and legs, color blocking the pockets etc. This will clearly be a stable in my daughters closet. Haven’t tried the women’s yet but aim to do so.
Hayley Pierce –
“This month’s sew was the Brooklyn Joggers in children’s 12-18 months. The pattern was super easy to follow, and sews up quick! I really enjoyed making these pants, and will try the adult version next!
I loved that I could use my serger for 90% of the pattern. This made it easy to sew up, and there were no hems to sew! Definitely a pattern I’ll use again. “
Doris Van Dyk –
“The pocket might move this from a beginner project to an experienced beginner, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow, so I would recommend this to a beginner with some experience sewing with knits.
Topstitching is optional, but I think the topstitching really adds to the look of the finished joggers.
“
Deborah Ellenden –
Super fast sew with amazing results. Great way to use scraps to match existing wardrobe pieces. Comfy yet can be dressed up or down.
Claudia Broos-Pauli –
I love this beautiful joggers. They fit my baby boy perfectly and i love the look. Went together very easy and quickly.
Andreia de Almeida –
The brooklyn joggers are so cute for little ones. I love the pocket details, even if they are too small to use them, it’s still a nice feature. They were very easy and fast to sew and I will definitely make more.
Tania Vervaeke –
Great pattern easy to make. In my opinion if your little one is in the lower regions of the size table, you can go down a size (or she lost some weight/cm when she was sick/stomach flue, in the time between I made it and we took the pics). Instructions are easy to follow.
Kerry Macdonald –
Such a quick and easy sew. I just love how these pants will grow with my child thanks to the fantastic cuffs.
Shima Chelong –
This pattern requires an advanced begginer skills to sew it. But the result is awesome.
Nadia Cadby –
Easy to follow pattern and good instructions. A great make for the summer – it’s only 3 degrees here today!
Jelena –
A very easy and simple pattern to make. Excellent instructions. That said, I had trouble with sizing for the kid, she is usually straightforward size, but here I had to add width to the chest and waist but size down at the hips because they were huge. I also had to add quite a bit for the sleeve length in long sleeve option.
Randie Dodman –
I love this pattern! It is so quick and easy, and so versatile! I love the fit, it is so comfortable.
Lieve Cox –
I think this is a quick and easy sew. Just had to read the instructions for the V-neck 3 times, but that was my own fault (I thought I knew how to do it, but I was overconfident :-), in the end it worked out). My daughter loves it and she wants me to make her another, mid-calf length and the T-shirt version is also on her wishlist.
Jenni Elizabeth Early –
RP really knocked it out of the park with this one! So many options with two different silhouettes, two necklines, three sleeve lengths, and six lengths. Plus the fit is spot-on. I will be making many more of these!!
Lore Hill –
A little more snug than she likes but she was at the top end of the sizes. Going up to the next size would probably fix the problem. Pattern went together super easy.
Amanda Cunningham –
This pattern is actually fun to make. It’s so fast that the finished product was on my daughter before I had to time to think! In less than an hour she had a cute and comfy, stretch velvet dress for church. I can’t wait to make her one for every day of the week for the summer.
Tiina Norrkniivilä –
A superfast and easy pattern with loads of different options. The perfect choice for a girl who loves simple yet flared shirts.
LeighAnn McDermott –
I love the vneck option, what a quick sew
Liz Faber –
This pattern is the answer to my dreams. The amount of options is amazing. Not just a dress pattern but a T-shirt pattern as well. Sews up quickly and easily. I’ll be making many many more for myself and my daughter.
Glo Ban –
I made the thigh length, flared version with long sleeves – I especially loved how I only needed to grade up one size for my hips. This is the perfect pattern for everyone; the variations means it can fit anyone of any shape and the inclusive size range ticks all the boxes. This is now and forever be my go-to tee shirt / dress pattern! Love the shapes, neck variations and sleeve lengths; I will make one in every colour!
Maja –
Simple pattern with great instructions. Perfect for any occasion, with different kind of fabric you can get different kind of look – from super cozy to elegant.
Sandy Simpson –
For a simple style, this pattern is anything but simple. The drafting is superb, the sizing spot on and the variations endless. I added flutter sleeves to one and split sleeves to another. I love the straight version dress – it is flattering without hugging the body. I am looking forward to making more.
Deb Carpenter –
Really straightforward pattern for someone starting to sew knits!
TaWanna Archia –
I love the fit and flow of this dress. I love having a flared option, straight fit and various sleeves. This is perfect for all seasons with a slight modification in fabric. My new RP Pattern.
Sharon Courtney –
Very easy make which quickly sews up into a wardrobe staple. Clear and easy instructions for the v neck option too!
Manuela Zender –
Easy and fast to sew. Instructions are easy to understand. My daughter loves the pattern and ordered already more
Candice Robb –
I made this shirt for my son and he absolutely loved it!
Clare Bowes –
Fantastic pattern to make a lovely top – (NOT JUST FOR BOYS!) placket part can be a bit tricky, but just take your time and it will work out. I will be making many more of these
Sarah Miller –
A fun and different model for the smaller kids. The placket is a little bit tricky and the fabric tears easily if you don’t use interfacing. But the placket is also needed to get the shirt on, and when you’re done, the final product is nice to look at.
Heather Luben –
A henley is a wardrobe staple for my boys! It’s a fairly quick sew, but the placket adds enough detail to be special! The placket construction is different from others that I’ve seen, and I love how it lays, and that it’s not as thick as others can be. I will be making more!

Kelly Tuttle –
Detailed instructions will help get you through the placket construction. My son looks darling in his new top!
Lisa Lazenby –
I think this is a lovely basic for your wardrobe with some nice finishing touches. I appreciated the high waistband and pockets options. It is a beautiful skirt when done with a fabric with nice drape!
Kristen Wilson –
A quick sew with amazing twirly results. Simple design that lets your fabric choices bring out the greatness in this skirt.
Renee Hildreth –
Pattern was easy to print out and assemble. The instructions were clear. I did spend quite a while gathering, so it was a bit time consuming. I do love the fullness of the skirt that I ended up with though so, it was worth it. My daughter loves to twirl in her “princess skirt.”
Lerinda Swan –
This skirt was SUPER easy. I was able to cut and sew it in less than thirty minutes. It’s so flowy and twirly. I like that it has French seamed pockets AND the side seams are also French seamed. I foresee this skirt being a staple in my daughter’s wardrobe.
Rebecca Barber –
I made the Easy Peasy skirt for my daughter, and it was just that! Easy Peasy! The newly named ‘Daniella’ skirt is one for any level sewist. It’s super cute, very full and looks great in Summer or layered in Winter. This is a seriously fast sew with literally a hem, side seams and waistband. I love that the waistband elastic is 1.5″ also. Helps keep it up on those toddler tummies and is super comfortable.
Catherine Killen –
“Lovely Pattern, easy to follow, your patterns are my favourite to cut out and stick together as they always work out perfect,
Easy to cut out fabric, easy to follow and turns out beautiful,”
Tracy Santander –
This skirt was so fast to sew up! I love how easy and quick it was to make.
Jennifer Vincilione –
This skirt is a very quick sew! A great pattern for beginner and advanced sewists alike. While the pattern is simple, the end product is beautiful. Every seam is finished beautifully and your recipient will want to twirl for hours on end!
Jessica Cochran –

Debbie Davis –
Daniella is a super quick twirly gathered skirt perfect for beginners or anyone with a little girl to dress. It is a wardrobe basic that allows you to show off gorgeous fabrics without needing a lot of fuss.
Nici Ivey –
This is a lovely and relatively easy sew. I sew mostly with knits, and, while this pattern is suitable for knits, I chose to use a woven. I’m so glad I did! The skirt on my little girl has a perfect “poofiness” and twirlability using simple quilting cotton. I finished with a rolled hem in a contrasting color for added decoration. There will be many more of these in my little girl’s closet soon!
AngieKyp –
This is a simple and fast skirt to sew up. It produces a great twirl factor all the little girls will love. There are great pictorials and sewing instructions to guide you through the process from start to finish. Highly recommend for a simple skirt with lots of impact.
