Supplies for the DIY Table Runner

• Use woven fabric. 100% cotton will work best.
• 1 – 10” x 15” foundation fabric ( Muslin or similar solid, light color fabric )
• 1 – 12” x 17” backing fabric
• 1 – 12” x 17” low loft batting (cotton or poly/cotton)
• Assorted strips of fabric cut 1” to 3” wide and 5” to 22” in length
• 1 – 60” x 2 ½” strip of fabric (or 2 strips that equal 60”) for binding

Tools:

• Marking pen
• Pins
• Sewing gauge
• Scissors
• Sewing machine
• Iron and board
• Thread
• Hand sewing needle

Optional but helpful:

• Rotary cutter
• Ruler
• Mat
