I love this pattern, clear instructions on how to alter for your stairs. I made a few mistakes with this one but I will be making it again because it is such a lovely pattern.

A new tool for decluttering your house! The fabric stair basket is perfect for gathering stuff around the first floor.

It was difficult to get circles to match when assembling the pattern. It was a fun pattern. I used fusible fleece on the lining and med weight fusible stabilizer on the outer fabric. Cutting the stabilizer and fleece just inside the sew line worked great for keeping box looking boxy and not pillowy! My fabric was an upholstery outer, light canvas lining.

The fabric stair baskets came together very quickly once I started sewing. The process of attaching the bottom to the sides was a hair tricky at first, but easy by the time I did the final side! It’s nice to have a basket on the stairs to hold everything we need to carry up, rather than having it scattered all over the steps.
