Supplies for the How To Use A Serger Tutorial
- Serger and Sewing Machine
- Serger Thread ( I use Maxi-Lock and Maxi-Lock Stretch )
- Sewing Machine Thread ( I use Gutermann )
- Printed Pattern
- Tape or Glue-stick
- Ruler or Seam Gauge
- Soft Measuring Tape
- Paper Scissors
- Cutting Mat and Rotary Cutter OR Fabric Scissors
- Pattern Weights or Pins
- Pins or Clips
- Thread Snips or Small Thread Scissors
- Jersey or Stretch Needle ( I use size 11 )
- 1 1/2 yards of fabric with at least 50% stretch for each top you plan to make (a small child’s size top would use less fabric than this)
- Wash-Away Wonder Tape ( Optional )
