How do PDF/ digital patterns work? Simply download, print, and sew. You’ll need a free Adobe Acrobat reader program and any home printer (or a nearby copy shop for A0 printing). Once you’ve printed the pieces, tape or glue them together. You’ll find an easy-to-follow how-to guide inside the pattern instructions, plus support in our Facebook group.
The trim-free pattern comes in A4 or US letter printable sizes and includes full pattern pieces and a detailed tutorial to guide you every step of the way. An A0 format (pattern pieces only) is also included should you wish to have your pattern printed professionally. PDF Layers allow you to select and print only the size/s you want/ need.
When will I get my patterns? You’ll receive a link to download your patterns immediately after purchase. If you haven’t received it, please check your spam/ junk folder. You can also find your patterns in your ‘My Account’ area..
What if I need help while sewing? Join our Facebook group and ask any and all the questions you have! We have a team of admins who know our patterns inside-out and are here to help at any point throughout your RP sewing experience. This is a super simple way to update any ironing board! Give your board a new lease of life in under 1 hour. I left the old cover on for extra padding & added a layer of quilt batting. I used upholstery fabric so it will be hard wearing.

This is such an easy tutorial to follow. I made 3 covers using this tutorial. My ironing boards not only match but I saved quite a lot of money making my own. The tutorial is really easy to follow and explains how to customise it for individual sizes of boards. I made a full size cover, one for my table top iron and also one for my sleeve board.

This was an easy sew. The pattern wasn’t so much of a pattern but instructions on how to measure your existing ironing board to make a new cover for it. I loved being able to choose my own fabric to coordinate with the rest of my sewing space. It was relatively simple but I struggled slightly with creating a casing on the curve.

This was a really fast sew – in fact I think I spent more time threading elastic through the casing than measuring, cutting, and sewing! I liked that the pattern could be adapted to fit any size board because that meant I could make matching covers for our wall-mounted pull out large board (which isn’t a standard size) as well as its accompanying sleeve board, which has never had a cover before! My husband is very excited that he’ll now be able to use the sleeve board when ironing his shirts 🙂
