I loved sewing this top. I did the long sleeved version and loved how it came together and all the finishing off. It fits me perfectly and I feel very put together and stylish wearing it. I love that I can wear both casually and for formal occasions. In summer I’ll be making a sleeveless one too.

This pattern is so cute .. My favorite feature is the back side of this garment.. it looks complicated to sew but the instructions is as clear as crystal. I am happy that Rebecca Page made this sewing pattern.
Simple but elegant styling, lovely in a soft flowing fabric. Easily adaptable for casual or more formal wear, love it sleeveless.

I loved making this pattern, it’s a real quick easy sew. The main problem is decided on what fabric to use, thew possibilities are endless. It could be ideal for winter or summer, sleeveless or with these lovely draped sleeves, heavy or light material. The fit was pretty perfect for me, overall this is a real versatile pattern that I will use many more times to come 🙂

I love how gorgeous the finished blouse is! I used chiffon and sewed up both the sleeveless and the long sleeve blouse. I think my favorite is with the sleeves as the extra flowy sleeves goes amazing with the body of the blouse. The keyhole in the back is just the icing on the cake.
I also love how much I learned while making this pattern. It was the first time I sewed with chiffon (or lightweight cotton for that matter) and the pattern directions helped you through the steps. Though as it was my first time learning how to make pleats and french seams I went through a practice round while making my toile/muslin to give myself an easy way to figure out all the intricate details on the shirt before going onto the chiffon.

The Brielle Blouse is another lovely RP pattern that provides a soft look with the lightly flowing waistline, single button and peek-a-boo opening on the back of the neckline, and sleeveless or beautiful billowing 3/4 length sleeves. The armcycle is the perfect fit and is not too high or low (aka breathable!). The peek-a-boo opening comes with a few different options with facing or binding (you even get tips on how to make your own binding! Which is super easy and a great application for future projects). With a light fabric, the shirt is perfect for the summer, and a lighter cotton, a pretty addition to your fall or winter wardrobe – the thicker the fabricv, the less flowy it will be though – so don’t go too fabric thick! The neckline isn’t too high, and doesn’t pinch or suffocate while wearing – you don’t even notice it’s there. Match it with a sash or belt for a super modern stylish look, or just tuck it into your pants for a pretty (and tummy confidant) look. It’s a quick afternoon project for you, your sewing machine, and your iron! And well worth the effort!

I love this blouse! It calls for woven, but I successfully made it in an Ikat knit! I love all the variations for the sleeves making it perfect for all seasons! The pleats at the neck and the keyhole back are lovely details making this top stand out!

This is the first time I’ve used georgette but it seemed the perfect pattern to try it with. The pattern is great, really easy to follow and it has proper cuffs that I managed to do and they look great. I love the final blouse and have already worn it to work quite a few times, as it’s perfect for the warmer weather. I’ll be making more of these!

This was an easy make, although I found chiffon a challenging fabric to use particularly with the pleats at the neckline. Final look was all worth it!

Although I don’t work with wovens very often, I found this pattern a breeze with which to work. The pattern pieces were marked well and the tutorial was excellent. I thought I may have trouble with the keyhole and collar, but it was really very simple. I made a sleeveless version in crepon for the summer months. I do wish the armscye was a little higher for the sleeveless version. I’ve found I need to wear a cami under the blouse for my sense of modesty. Also, I wish I would have thought to ‘dry fit’ the collar before I sewed it to the neckline; I think I would have shortened it (circumferentially) just a tad. I used snaps for my closure and it’s so easy to get on/off. Overall, I’m very pleased with my creation. I’ll definitely wear it often during the summer. It’s a very versatile piece and I’ve already dressed it up for church and I’ve also paired it with jean shorts for around town errands and shopping.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this pattern after I sewed it up. The graceful front pleating is so lovely and the high collar compliments the pleated front so well. It drapes lovely in Rayon or chiffon and the sleeveless version works for at least three seasons when paired the Rebecca page Circle Cardi
