This pattern was very easy to follow. All seams are beautifully enclosed and the fitting was perfect. I love that it has many options, especially, the alternative to sew it with or without the neck tie, which makes it versatile.
Lauri Meinhardt –
The Madison Blouse is a quick sew and very versatile. The instructions are easy to follow and with the many options the styles are endless! A timeless pattern that can be worn for work or play depending on fabric choice and style.
Ng Puay Choo –
Clear instructions and I love how the blouse turns out, fit is good.
Siska Taslim –
I love the feminine details of this blouse!
Kelle Lujan –
The Madison blouse was one of the first patterns from Rebecca Page that caught my eye. I loved the look of the tie neck, but wasn’t sure it was my style. Then I noticed that there was a version without the tie. My daughter needs some new tops for summer and I felt this would be perfect. As per usual, the instructions were easy to follow, including the ones for the flat-felled seam technique. I chose to do the nicest finishing with french and flat-felled seams and the result in lovely. However, instructions also include a faster serged option. Overall the fit is great and was accurate to the size chart. This is a great project for an intermediate sewist or adventurous beginner.

This is an amazing pattern! Really easy to follow step by step, the tuto and the pictures really clear! The fit is perfect. I feel really comfortable and pretty in my new Madison dress. Thank you for this beautiful pattern! Can’t wait to to sew an other one!

It’s not my first Madison and i absolutely love it. I love all the details and option (collar, gathered sleeves, tie, french seams) and i think this pattern is flattering all kind of sizes
Chaney Baxley Mobley –
The Madison is a beautiful sew with wonderful finishes. The techniques used in the pattern give it a stunning professional finish. Make sure you plan enough time to give enough attention to the finishes and you’ll have an absolutely amazing blouse!
Corrine Smith –
I enjoyed making this garment. I found the instructions very detailed and easy to comprehend. I did have some issues with my over locked seams that made it hard on the gathered seams, I did restart. I am really pleased with how the garment turned out.

I’m super excited to show you my first woven shirt. I usually sew with knit fabric, so this is a big deal for me! The pattern is from Rebecca Page Patterns, the Madison Blouse. Rebecca Page really shines with this pattern. There are gathers on below the front two yokes and the back yoke. The shirt has plackets down the front and 5 buttons. The collar can either be a classic style or have this fun tie that mine has (in two different width options). The sleeves can be short or long and can be gathered at the armscye as seen here or made with pleats. The long sleeved options is a split sleeve with the cuff. The pattern also has the option of making a dress. So many different possibilities with this pattern. The instructions are very detailed with lots of pictures, so I had no issues figuring out how to construct the pieces. Truly a classic well done pattern.

I have made three of these beautiful blouses, I love this pattern so much. This time around I made the long sleeve and love it! The instructions are clear and concise, and I will be making more!
Toni Louise Clark –
This was an amazing pattern, easy to follow and make up. Love the level of instructions provided, makes it easy to make. love how comfy it is.
Hannah Goulter –
This was an easy make, although I found chiffon a challenging fabric to use particularly with the pleats at the neckline. Final look was all worth it!
Raven –
Great pattern!
Amanda Pickrell –
I love this blouse! I love all the variations for the sleeves making it perfect for all seasons! The pleats at the neck and the keyhole back are lovely details making this top stand out!
Chris M Shapiro –
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this pattern after I sewed it up. The graceful front pleating is so lovely and the high collar compliments the pleated front so well. It drapes lovely in Rayon or chiffon and the sleeveless version works for at least three seasons when paired the Rebecca page Circle Cardi
Karen Greenhalgh –
This is the first time I’ve used georgette but it seemed the perfect pattern to try it with. The pattern is great, really easy to follow and it has proper cuffs that I managed to do and they look great. I love the final blouse and have already worn it to work quite a few times, as it’s perfect for the warmer weather. I’ll be making more of these!
Agnes Bobak –
It is such a great pattern, I had so much fun creating this!
Becky McGill-Wilkinson –
This pattern is fantastic, as usual for Rebecca Page patterns. It has great tailoring details which make it a challenging sew, but very worth it as it looks like a professionally-made garment when you’re done! I opted for the sleeveless version with the ruffle front and I used quilting cotton because I just loved the crazy pattern. The ruffles definitely stand out more than if I had used a fabric with a softer drape, but I love that you can personalize this pattern by the fabric you use. The techniques are slightly complicated (creating the ruffle, adding the collar), but the instructions and photographs make it easy to construct.
