This is the best PJ pattern, heaps of options. It was my first try at adding piping to a collar and the tutorial made it so easy, they look so professional!
Sharon Courtney –
Perfect, comfy, woven PJ pattern! Clear instructions perfect for beginner, also with a quick guide for more experienced sewistas. French seams give beautiful finish on the inside as well as the outside. A lovely pattern.
Kat Churchill –
Such a simple and quick sew. Lots of new PJs in this house now!
Stephanie Koehler –
What a great pattern to try piping and buttons for the first time. I had never done a collar either. The step by step instructions are so clear and easy to follow. I really had a fun time making my PJ’s. I have already bought more fabric to make 3 more. I will have one for every night of the week.
Laura Walker –
I really liked this pattern. The collar construction was especially good, with clear instructions and a beautiful finish. I made a pair for my son and myself out of a light weight cotton as it is coming into summer where I live, but I am already planning a cozy, flannel pair for winter!
Kayler Griffiths –
Loved this sew! Was very quick & easy. Now to make some Christmas ones!!
Becky Jones –
Very satisfying and very easy sew. I added piping that I made and still made it start to finish in 5 hours (including pattern printing and assembly)
Nadine Simard –
This is a mix and match top, perfect for matching family pjs during the holidays.
Amelia Keating –
Fun sew resulting in fun pajamas! They are really comfy, and I love having pockets in my pajamas!
Nadia Cadby –
I loved making these pjs, a really quick sew and the first time I have put a collar on something – the notches on the pattern really helped. I practised my button holes and sewing the buttons on by machine and they are so cosy. I have a feeling that some short sleeved and short sets will be made for next summer.
Mireille Ribiere –
One word WOW you can use this pattern for the pj’s as it suppose to be but pick some good quality fabric and you can go outside. The pattern for the pants works also for a home-made-pants for all days in and outside.
Jenny Gomez –
Because I’m tall. I never have good fitting PJs. These pants were such a quick, easy sew and they turned out so comfy! I’ve never been a fan of button up pajama shirts, so I paired them with the lady’s Toronto tee and have a new favorite pair of pajamas!
Stacey Kay –
Great easy beginner pattern!
Luana Furlanetto –
Very nice sew, I enjoyed making it, and results is great! It looks way more complicated than what it actually is. I’ll probably make more with different fabrics.
Katie Weatherly –
I was very pleased with my finished pjs. Pattern and directions were easy to follow.
Kirstie Balding –
The classic pair of PJ’s with lots of nice options to make them your own! With great skills to challenge and develop the beginner such as piping and buttonholes whilst being a satisfying sew for the more experienced, ending up with a great looking pair of PJ’s.
Heidi Gerhardt-Bourke Gray –
Super simple pattern but comes together to look like something professional. Instructions were easy to follow. Looking forward to making winter ones!
Amber Stefanick –
I loved sewing up this pattern! This was my first time sewing French seams but the instructions made it really easy to follow. I am really pleased with the results and I will definitely use that technique in other woven garments. This pajama set is so cozy made in flannel and I will enjoy them all winter!
Terri Shaver –
I really thought these were very easy and a nice looking pair of PJ’s. I’ve been losing weight and tend to make things bigger than normal, so next time I’ll size these down considerably.
Pam O’Flynn –
Very easy pattern with great results. If you are a beginner, go slow with the collar/facing section and trust the process! So many options that become even more by changing fabric type!
Rachel –
I can tell you right now, you have no excuse for not getting this pattern right now. You can make pants or shorts. You can make a short sleeved shirt or a long sleeved shirt. You can make it out of a light material like cotton or a warmer material like flannel. No matter what your situation, I’m sure you can apply some combination of pajamas into your life!
Kelle Lujan –
These are some fun PJs. My kids often wear whatever practice sewing garments I’ve made to bed, which is practical, but wow were they excited to have some “real” pajamas. The pants are a super quick sew, even with the optional pockets. The top has this lovely facing and collar detail. I took the opportunity to use a contrasting fabric and it makes for such an unique feature. We used snaps to make the top a little quicker. Overall pattern assembly is easy and pattern pieces went together well. Now my younger daughter has asked for a pair so I’ll get right on it!
Shauna Richards –
I loved this pattern! its so comfortable and there are so many options. I live in Texas so I made short sleeves and shorts and will DEFINITELY be wearing them a lot! I was intimidated by the collar since I hadn’t made anything with a collar before but the directions were clear and walked me through it so I felt comfortable the whole time. I don’t think I’ll be afraid of collars or button holes again!
Alexandria Phillip –
This was the simplest pajama pattern I have seen so far! I absolutely loved how every seam was enclosed with either a french Seam or hemmed with zero raw edges showing. This made them feel more durable, like they will last a very long time. I highly recommend this pattern and will personally be making my whole family pajamas for Christmas!
Taiko Karen Rai –

Clare Bowes –
PJs are a great sew, step by step instructions, good for advancing your sewing skills. Size is generous, I made L – but will make a M next time, I cropped the bottoms, as shorts looked too short for what i was wnting, but full length was too long (Just long enough to keep my legs from the cold of a leather settee in these winter months), Will be making more, and a top with added length
Stacey Kay –

Pattern is well written and easy to follow. I had a little trouble with the top, specifically attaching the front interlining piece. Other than that it’s a great sew!
