The perfect quick and easy pattern to make a useful cover for your precious machines. The pattern is a universal size with clear measurements given, but you can easily adjust the measurements to fit your own sewing machines and overlockers.

I think overall the pattern is pretty easy. I did find the instructions in attaching the side panels to the cover a bit confusing and the pictures did not help with clarifying how to attach. I had to just lay the rectangle on the machine to determine how to attach.
After figuring that out it is a quick and easy sew. I plan to sew another one and customize the size. I will also make one for my serger.

Love this pattern. So easy to make and I love it. I have needed one for one of my machines and I am so glad that I did it. May have to do 2 more for my other machines.
Jenna Page –
A wonderful simple pattern, easily modified to fit my machine size. As always thorough but not overwhelming instructions from start to finish. Now to get the ironing board cover pattern and male one on matching material 🙂
Becky Jones –
This is a great pattern! I absolutely love it! The size that it is patterned for fits PERFECTLY over my Janome Memory Craft 6300 and my Juki 2010Q (larger machines). I will be making one for my serger next – this pattern is so easy to scale . I added the piping for interest, but this did not take long at all. The instructions were easy to foll as well. My only recomendation would be to interface the entire inside rather than just the top. I used a heavy courderoy, but it still would have been beneficial to interface the entire piece in this case. I absolutely and thrilled with the results!

This pattern is great! I live the universal pattern pieces with the option to customize for your machine size.
Donna Lowe –
Absolutely love this pattern. I customize it to fit my sewing machine and it’s perfect for beginners

Super cute and quick to make up!
Angel Pooley –
Cutting, sewing and finishing took 45 minutes and for me a relatively new sewist that’s really something. I love this just wish I had more machines to cover!
Kirstie Balding –
Very easy to adapt (and sew) the pattern to the size of my machine so I can cover it with the embrodiery unit in situ. It looks so much prettier now it matches the blind in my sewing room, now for the ironing board and overlocker!

This project was fun to make. The pattern was fairly simple, instructions were easy to read as was the pattern. The time needed to pin and cut out the pattern, press and sew the project by hand was under 90 minutes. I would guess using a sewing machine it would be a 30 to a 40 minute sewing project. I will be making several more of these to give as gifts for my crafty friends. I would definitely recommend this pattern for its simplicity and its ability to easily be altered to accommodate most any Sewing Machine, Embroidery Machine or Serger. I really enjoyed making this project.

I’m terrible about covering my sewing machine when not in use. Mostly because my hard cover is bulky and a bit of a pain to get on. So I decided to make my own! I was thrilled to be able to choose my own fabric. This was a super simple sew and you don’t even have to print anything if you use the measurements in the pattern! Serger, you’re next.
April Lett –
This was a nice project. The pattern was easy. The tutorial was well-written and the construction was simple. The finished product is useful and accurately constructed and described; a pleasure to sew. Nice job!
LeighAnn McDermott –
A very easy to follow pattern to keep your machines dust free.
Randie Rae Dodman –

Super easy and fast sew!

Why haven’t I done this before? It’s so easy and fast! The pattern in the file is a little bit big for my Pfaff, but in the other hand it covers the machine well. Next up is a cover for my serger. This size isn’t included in the file, but after doing one, you realize how easy they are to plan and make yourself.

Wow! What a difference a stylish sewing machine cover makes in our home. The pattern is super easy, too!
Veronica Hartwig –
Making a cover for my sewing machine has been something I have wanted to do for a while. The rebecca page pattern makes this so easy! I used a directional fabric so just added in a middle seam so no matter which way I put the cover on the pattern runs up the right way! I found thw instructions so easy to follow and did the french seam option which was easily explained in the instructions. Makes my sewing table look super special and professional.

Such a quick sew and very easy to complete.

Super easy pattern to make a great cover for your machine. I made this to use when I’m not actively sewing, and I wanted something cute versus the utilitarian carrying cover that came with my machine. You can be super creative and use it as a decoration point in your sewing space, which is awesome!
Jackie Henderson –
Super quick scrap buster! I was able to use a piece of vintage fabric that was too pretty to toss. (It even smelled vintage! Haha!!) Super duper easy. 1 hour start to finish, even putting the pattern together!
Kyra Delaney –
I love that I was able to make a dust cover for my serger with whatever fabric I wanted. I wish the pattern went over examples of how you could alter the pattern pieces to get a custom fit more ind with but otherwise I have no complaints. I altered the shape of my side panels and changed the length and width of the main piece but after the alterations I followed along with the directions as written.
Leah McGrath –
So simple and yet so easily customizable. I was able to use the pattern to create a quilted version of the cover that I really love.
