“Great pattern for an advanced beginner looking for a little challenge; the tips on the button-hole placement and the overall shape are lovely! Would love to make a winter one and possibly a longer, sleeveless one!

You will get a lot of “YOU MADE IT?!?!?” type of look when you wear this make out! And the cut is really flattering and of course, the super cute bow!
Genevieve Lynne Grossmann –
I am really happy with my Blazer, this is certainly a challenging pattern but reading each step really helps. The end product is just gorgeous.
Charlene Lee –
“The Spring Blazer is a nicely finished blazer with clean lines. The notched collar and squared front are a nice addition. The optional bow for the back may be a bit too large for a smaller person, but it looks very stylish!
“
Deb Sendelbach –
Beautiful princess seam blazer with options to use lining or go without lining but with nice seam finish using bias tape. A must have wardrobe basic.
Bunford Orsi –
This is a gorgeous blazer! Not to complicated to sew except the collar. But if you like challenges it’s a must have in the spring wardrobe!
Katherine Harris –
This blazer is a great staple for your work wardrobe. I really like the princess seams, which make fitting it a breeze, as well as providing a nice feminine silhouette. I love that it can be lined or unlined, making it a quick make!
Sabrina Ropp –
Although somewhat time consuming, this jacket was easy to make and the finished product is something to be truly proud of.
Jamie Adler –
A gorgeous blazer you’ll wear to work, to a Sunday gathering or a night on the town. Choose your favorite fabric to sew this fabulous jacket pattern and welcome Spring!
Melissa Clementz –
This is the first jacket I have ever made, and it is so beautiful! All the details and options give it such a polished look. I will be wearing this blazer all year!
Frieda Flavianu –
A classic design with beautiful outcome. I just love the fact that you can make it without lining.
Bernadette Aitken –
This little jacket is a great addition to any wardrobe. Care needs to be taken with the collar to get it to sit properly. The lining is easy to do and gives the jacket a lovely finish.
Jemma Tredinnick –
This is quite complicated but if you follow all the steps it is very doable. It makes a very smart jacket (which teams perfectly with the Paige Pencil Skirt) with a really nice collar detail. I made the small size, fully lined and it give a very nice line and smooth, easy to wear formal jacket. I did use a suiting material because I wanted a suit look and it worked perfectly.
Sarah Hopkins –
“I never thought I would be able to make a jacket. Clear easy to follow instructions made it possible. I used the additional tutorials to do a FBA and reduce the length and both worked out perfectly first time.
I will be making more of these! “
Charlotte Keyworth –
I really liked how versatile the pattern is with the different back options. I wasn’t keen on the amount of hand sewing!
Abby Batkin –
Absolutely love the finished garment. I used recycled woolen blankets and they are the perfect weight coming into autumn stylish and comfortable
Glo Ban –
Great pattern for an advanced beginner looking for a little challenge, the tips on the button-hole placement and the overall shape is lovely! Would love to make a winter one and possibly a longer sleeveless one!

Deb Carpenter –
“A fabulous, figure flattering blazer to stretch your sewing skills!
I took my time making this and I’m so glad that I did. I now how a tailored, great fitting jacket in my wardrobe that I’m proud to say I made myself!”
Sarah Miller –
This pattern is amazing! I would rate it an intermediate or advanced sew as it is a fully tailored garment. Take your time on this one and you will have an amazing, and professional looking blazer! The finished product is so worth the time you will spend making it perfectly fit to you. Make sure to make a muslin first to check for fit and don’t forget to press along the way to help get that perfect tailored finished and your blazer will be amazing! A tailors ham really helps with this sew too if you have one!
Kendra Quincy Knauf –
This was a really fun sew, even though I’m not really into blazers. Now I have to figure out how to add more blazers into my wardrobe!
Sanchia Norman (verified owner) –
It’s very pretty but complicated! I was forced to make some adjustments on the hop while finishing it as the instructions (both cheat sheet and thorough) weren’t exactly exhaustive. For example it points you at the (very good) RP instructions for an FBA (full bust adjustment) but fails to specify exactly which pieces will need to be adjusted. I altered the front and side front pieces but not the facing, which then caused me some big problems later on!
