Donna Jones –
What a beautiful flowy dress perfect for our Autumn weather here in Australia. Love that it hides all the lumps and bumps. An absolute stunner thank you RP.
Donna Jones –
I feel pretty, oh so pretty! I LOVE this dress and it brings out my inner girl! Seriously, it fits me like a glove, all the seams are French or bound so there is absolutely no raw edges (although you can use a serger) the instructions are full and the visuals are great. Sizes from xxs (31″,25″,34″) to 5xl (54″,50″,57″) this is one of my essential summer wardrobe items!
Catherine Murdock –
Very flattering dress ! Comfy and suitable for casual or formal wear , will be making more for summer
Connie Lusto –
So excited with how my dress turned out! There are a lot of steps to this pattern, but the instructions are very clear and the finishes are absolutely beautiful. The final dress is well worth the effort. I made the sleeveless version as my first, and I plan to tackle a long sleeve version next!
Adelle Pears –
This dress feels amazing. It’s very flattering and feels really light and floaty. The construction involves a few techniques but as always the instructions are incredibly clear and hold your hand the whole time. I can’t wait for the right weather to show this off properly!
Charlene Lee –
The dress is a pretty quick sew and the options are nice to have. It’s a bit different from other dress similar to it in that it has the neck panel added on . Dress looks nice on and is comfortable to wear.
Deb Sendelbach –
What a great summer dress with several options. I especially love the collar. Great fit also. Another winner from RP!
Sabrina Ropp –
This is such a beautiful, versatile pattern. It reminds me of ’70s style, but can be modernized easily. Dressed up with something like lightweight velvet, or more casual with linen or a bold floral cotton, this pattern can do it all.
Jasmine Chandler –
This is a really cute and fun pattern. I love the styling of this dress and the French seams to give it a clean finish.
Branka Čelić –
Summer Maxi is perfect summer dress, light and classy for every occasion. It suits all kind of summer…you can make it sleeveless , with short sleeves and even with long sleeves. It can be just bellow the knees or if you add frill in goes all the vay to the ankles, depending on your height.
Maja Rus –
Cozy dress with many options to choose from. I chose long with frill and sleveless. I already know that I will proudly wear this dress on my long summer vacation …
Genevieve Lynne Grossmann –
This is a really pretty pattern. It has some complicated parts and is made with woven fabric, making it quite unforgiving. I really like the end result and I enjoyed my sew but I feel that I would be more comfortable sixing up one for the next one.
Alisha Sparks Adams –
Lovely pattern for summer! I found that this dress ran a bit large on me. Even with that hiccup in will be making a second, smaller one. The shaping makes this dress exceptionally flattering.
Glo Ban –
Fantastic design! I absolutely love this pattern, quite a few parts but when it comes together it looks epic! Highly recommend!
Jenna Page –
“What can I say about this summer maxi?!
It is a gorgeous pattern! Amazing easy to follow instructions for a dress that will be the envy of all your friends!
As always with Rebecca Page patterns there are options, and who doesn’t love some options! Varying sleeve lengths and the optional frill means this dress can be made to suit any occasion!
I can’t recommend this pattern enough! “
Luana Furlanetto –
This is a beautiful pattern! I love the detail of the buttons on the neckband. It’s not as hard to sew as it looks, and the result is beautiful!
Nathalie Dene –
This is a great pattern for a beginner, who likes a bit of a challenge. I love this dress, and will be wearing it a lot this summer
Jasmine Chandler –
This is a really cute and fun pattern. I love the styling of this dress and the French seams to give it a clean finish.
Frieda Flavianu –
All pattern pieces came together perfectly and I got a Perfect fit for my slender young lady. Such a Beautiful design.
Leanne Miller –
Having made the Emma a couple of times it was very easy to sew, only needing to follow the neckband measurements. I altered this Emma following some inspiration pics on google. The Emma is very easy to alter and adapt to your own personal style hence making this a great versatile pattern and very fashionable.
Lacy Castleman –
Love this pattern! So fun and very versatile. I also love that it is easy enough to make in an afternoon!
Keeley Jones –
This dress is gorgeous! Love the length options and versatility in styling. It’s perfect for any occasion!
Shannon Tunks –
The Emma is a super quick and easy pattern to sew up and is definitely suitable for beginners! I slightly modified mine as I didn’t quite have enough fabric to make the knee length, so I added a little extra length to the tunic and didn’t worry about the tiering. I also narrowed the neckband to about half of the normal width out of personal preference. Even with the few adjustments I made, I had this dress sewn up in a couple of hours and I’m so excited to have a nice floaty, comfortable sun-dress for summer! And with so many different options, I can’t wait to make some more!!
Jennifer Anne Reeves –
This pattern is amazing. It’s great for a more advanced beginner who wants to begin to learn professional finishing techniques. It’s a gorgeous pattern that is super dressy, but also super comfortable. It’s gorgeous. It’s one of my favorite patterns.
Cordelia Henderson –
This is an amazing and flowy dress!! I felt that it was very flattering and feminine.
Anusha –
The most beautiful dress ever … the instructions and photos are brilliant as always with all your patterns . Even a novice in sewing can ace it with all the photos and instructions.
Laura Quach –
great pattern, no alteration needed ! it’s perfect for summer !
Lim Boon Kuan –
Fast happy sew. love how the dress turned out.

Lisa Lazenby –
If you ask my daughter the best thing I’ve ever made her, she would pick the Emma. The fullness of the skirt is amazing and we both just love the unique neckline and armholes. She feels pretty grown up in this dress. I look forward to making a tunic version for myself this summer!
Ng Puay Choo –
Emma dress is an easy sew. It turns out better than expected – beautiful, dressy and comfortable for dates, weddings, both formal and casual events.
Cara Girven –
Wonderful pattern! You can use this pattern to make a top, tunic, dress (knee or tea length), or maxi version of the Emma, all with or without a sash, and all are gorgeous! The instructions are clear and easy to follow with lots of pictures. You can join the designer’s Facebook page to get help at any time as well, which is great! The dress is flattering on lots of body shapes and sizes, and depending on the fabric you use, you can make it casual or super dressy. I made myself a beautiful top using a Cotton + Steel rayon, and I love it. I can’t wait to try a dress or maxi version next.
Beth Barton –
This pattern has incredibly simple construction, and there’s enough repetition in the maxi version to be a great way to practice finishing raw edges and sewing straight seams. Be careful not to use too heavy a fabric choice, as the entire weight of this dress will be hanging from the collar. I think this pattern is a great choice for practicing working with trickier fabrics!
Sabrina Ropp –
This is a beautiful pattern, and the resulting blouse is so professional and comfortable; great for summertime or cooler weather with a blazer or jacket.
Hannah Goulter –
I loved this! I used chiffon and made a top version, it’s so lovely and floaty, also a very easy sew! Next thing to do is make a dress!
Lisa Bond –
I found the pattern very easy to use and I love the fact that you can remove certain layers and just print your size. Genius! The size was spot on for me, even the neck size which I find can be a problem sometimes. I can see me using this pattern many times, using different fabrics and for different uses. Well done on another excellent PDF pattern.
Kristin Rohde –
This pattern looks complex, but it is quite simple to complete! The instructions are very clear with detailed photographs to help every step of the way. I have now completed this pattern in both a tunic length and a dress length and I love them both! The dress is beautiful, fun, frilly and a sassy enough for date night! I plan to make many more!
Ellen Valarida –
Once I stopped overthinking the pattern it was a breeze to sew up!
Susan Ellerbrook –
This dress is SO fun! Relatively quick and easy to put it together and as always, the instructions and attention to detail are top notch! A quick note of advice, if you’re planning on sewing a maxi length dress be aware that this is a LOT of fabric so pick something light weight! I initially chose a super soft knit that seemed light enough but it turned out to be uncomfortably heavy to wear. As a tunic it would have been perfect.
Elyse Clarke –
I loved sewing up this top. Was really quick and perfect for us coming into summer. So many options too!
Jackie Henderson –
This is a great pattern that is so very versatile! Depending on your fabric, this could be a formal gown. (Do keep in mind that slippery fabric will take you longer.) Emma is so flowy and glamorous to wear! It would make a lovely bridesmaid gown as well!! Casual to Formal, multiple lengths…an excellent pattern to add to your collection!
Amy Vickers –
I Love It! The Emma is one of the easiest woman’s pattern that I have made so far. I did find that it felt huge in the waist area but the arm holes were almost too small, but I do know that all women are not built exactly the same so I did a little bit of adjustments to arms holes. I love that I do have the option for different lengths. I plan to make more tunics and maxis in the spring! Thank you for your time and I am sorry that I was late getting my finals in.
Heather Luben –
I’ve had my eye on this pattern for a while. I love the modest and unique neckline of it, and the loose drape of the dress for a breezy feel, or with a belt to still be flattering and more fitted. I found a beautiful blue drapey fabric in my stash, not sure of the content, but I love how it works with the structured neckband and gathered dress. The one tier is perfect for me, as I prefer longer dresses but often trip up on the ones that go down to my ankles. I love the swish of it!
LeighAnn McDermott –
I love the v-neck option, what a quick sew
Sabrina Ropp –
I love this pattern! I went from printing to wearing the dress in a single day it was so easy and fast. It works for a simple V-neck T-shirt to a long black knit dress for more formal occasions.
Mel Cornwall –
A very fast and easy sew! The instructions are so easy to understand. The V neck is perfection. It took me about 2 hours from printing the pattern to the finished product! What a fun pattern. Thank you 🙂
Donna Jones –
What are you looking for? The perfect maxi with ¾sleeve? A crop with long sleeve? Sort sleeve knee length? Flared? Straight? This pattern gives you more, more, more! Such a quick sew, so many options and brilliantly thorough instructions, whichever combination you choose. There is also a super helpful print only the pages you need guide which ticks my eco box! The fit for me was perfect with only a simple adjustment for height needed. The instructions give you guidance for alterations galore to make your me made make totally perfect for your body
Katie Weatherly –
This is an awesome versatile pattern. Will make plenty more.
Tricia Nguyen –
The t-shirt dress is a great pattern for a great fitting basic dress or top. Very quick to sew.
Liz Faber –
This pattern is the answer to my dreams. The amount of options is amazing. Not just a dress pattern but a T-shirt pattern as well. Sews up quickly and easily. I’ll be making many many more for myself and my daughter.
Nadia Cadby –
Easy to follow pattern and good instructions. A great make for the summer – it’s only 3 degrees here today!
Jane Whicheloe –
Such a quick and easy sew. Really versatile too. Fits well with lots of different options
Amelia Keating –
Really quick sew with so many options! My daughters loved their dresses and are looking forward to many more!
Donna Jones –
Super simple sew with clear instructions and so so so many options. Literally a one stop pattern for long, shirt, ¾length tops, crops, tshirts, dresses, nighties, this unisex pattern is a must have wardrobe staple, you’ll have the kids in Me made clothing in no time!
Angel Pooley –
Super quick sew. The V neck is a bit tricky for someone who’s never done one before (me) but I done the flared option and I can’t wait to make more for the spring ♥️🥰
Glo Ban –
I made the thigh length, flared version with long sleeves – I especially loved how I only needed to grade up one size for my hips. This is the perfect pattern for everyone; the variations means it can fit anyone of any shape and the inclusive size range ticks all the boxes. This is now and forever be my go-to tee shirt / dress pattern! Love the shapes, neck variations and sleeve lengths; I will make one in every colour!
Maja –
Simple pattern with great instructions. Perfect for any occasion, with different kind of fabric you can get different kind of look – from super cozy to elegant.
Pamela Stump –
This was a quick, easy sew with tons of options! Two necklines, a bunch of sleeve lengths, and hemlines from crop top to maxi. Mine was in cotton lycra, with the shallow v-neck, long sleeves, and the “top” length because I needed more long-sleeve t’s! My husband likes it, he says that with this fabric, it doesn’t look like “just a t-shirt.” I will be making more.
Erica Nemnich –
Great simple quick shirt dress. Many options to choose from
Sarah Hopkins –
I love this pattern and made 2 versions so far. I can see myself filling up my wardrobe with all the variations. I love it because it was quick and simple sew yet looks great on. I get so cold in winter so the long sleeve top version is perfect for layers. In the summer I live in comfy dresses. I can see me coming back to this pattern time and time again!
Debbie Groves –
Nice fit, easy to make and wear
Lisa Corriveau –
The ladies tshirt dress is an easy, quick pattern to sew up. Beginners can keep it simple with a rounded neckline & straight hem, or for a little more challenge, do the V-neck & side vents. It works well in different weights of fabric & makes a great wardrobe basic with lots of hem & sleeve length options.
Sandy Simpson –
For a simple style, this pattern is anything but simple. The drafting is superb, the sizing spot on and the variations endless. I added flutter sleeves to one and split sleeves to another. I love the straight version dress – it is flattering without hugging the body. I am looking forward to making more.
Deb Carpenter –
Really straightforward pattern for someone starting to sew knits!
Kyra Delaney –
So simple to sew up and so easy to follow the instructions. Love how the dresses turned out!
Amy Kaczenski –
Easy sew and so many options!
TaWanna Archia –
I love the fit and flow of this dress. I love having a flared option, straight fit and various sleeves. This is perfect for all seasons with a slight modification in fabric. My new RP Pattern.
Sharon Courtney –
Very easy make which quickly sews up into a wardrobe staple. Clear and easy instructions for the v neck option too!
Hannah Bnana –
A quick and easy sew, fits very nicely
Susan Pearson –
Excellent pattern for a simple dress that can be dressed up or down depending on the fabric choice.
Susan Pearson –
This dress is so quick and easy! It’s the perfect comfy dress for everyday wear!
Mariza Seymour –
“So easy to sew up with loads of options to keep it interesting. Adore the look of the vneck option (and what an easy explanation on doing the vneck!)
“
Erica Triplett –
I like the suit, but I feel there needs to be more support for the bust. Maybe using 3/8″ elastic would help in the straps, but it stretches out a lot as I wore the suit. I also think the shelve bra needs to come up higher. I am right in the middle for size XL measurements and the waist was a little tight with the bust being a bit big. I also had an issue with the lining of the bottoms being almost 1/2″ smaller than the ruched main, even checked the pattern pieces and this is true, so the waist elastic does not sit at this top. If this is supposed to be this way, it is not noted anywhere and I have not received feedback from the edit post. All in all and pretty easy swim for a newbie, but a few issues with matching up and support.
Donna Jones –
brilliantly written and visual instructions made this a super easy make! It is perfect for a summer dress in any fabric! I do highly recommend using washaway tape with knits for hems. I’m 5’3″ and left the length as drafted (for 5’6″) the length is perfect for me.my only downside is I need to shorten the elastic in the centre back dramatically as its gaping away from my body. I actually suspect I could size down, but I sewed to my measurements, 35″ upper bust, 39″ full bust and 34″ waist
Terri Pettigrew –
This pattern was so quick and easy it was amazing. I love this breezy dress. Perfect for a hot summer day when you want to be hotter than the sun.
Deborah Kraft –
This looked really difficult but was so easy. Great explanations, wonderful step by step instructions and a really beautiful finished garment for me 🙂
Roeshell Arjin McNelis –
i LOVEEEEE LOVEE this pattern. I love the final product, and i love how easy it was to do!!! I’m going to be making more of these.
Charlene Lee –
This Tie Back Dress comes in 3 lengths and is perfect for the summer! It is a very cute short dress for the younger ladies and girls and the longer version is great for the older crowd. I made the mid=calf length , but it came down to my ankles. I think it needs a small dart by the under arm to prevent gaping. It is a relatively quick sew , and is quite attractive. I am sure I will be making this dress for my daughter and grand daughter when they arrive next month.

My new lovely summer dress! Love the open back! It’s super comfortable to wear
Angel Pooley –
Great make!! With a few techniques I’d never tried before but the instructions were perfect and walked be straight through it. Thank you again RP!
Mary Acosta –
Made for my daughter and she loved it. will be making her more
Jemma Tredinnick –
This makes a lovely summer dress or swim suit cover up. I made mine out of an African print cotton in size Small. It was very easy to make despite having quite a lot of skirt to “burrito”. The techniques are all carefully explained and it was much quicker to sew than I thought when first looking at the pattern.
Frauke Schiller –
I love the look of the dress, because it is not one of those summer dresses you see everywhere. The sewing of the skirt is quite easy, but in my opinion the way to fix the bodice and the skirt is not the best solution, it is more or less not possible to bring them together properly. Anyhow, it is great to have different lengths and that one can choose between woven and knitted fabric. Definitely a pattern I will keep in mind for another summer dress sew for me and my daughter!
Sarai Orama –
Great sew if you want options for both knit and woven fabrics! Lovely silhouette with such a great detail in the tie back! Easy instructions!
Adelle Pears –
This is such a lovely flattering summer dress, there are a couple of challenging parts to the make but as usual the RP instructions walk you through it brilliantly and it comes together quite quickly. The only frustrating part was having to leave it to hang until I could hem it because I wanted to wear it so much!
Kelle Lujan –
I love this little dress! The style is so classic and the sewing is so quick. I love that the pattern is designed for both knits and wovens. I made a woven version out of a lightweight rayon and, even with the extra time for french seams, completed the whole dress in just a couple hours. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. My oldest daughter has put in a request as she’s a little jealous of little sister’s new swim coverup. And I won’t lie, I’m a little jealous too!
Frances Tildrn –
What a wonderfully light and breezy dress. It will be perfect for the hot, humid days of summer.
Connie Lusto –
I ADORE this dress. The ties allow for a custom fit that looks incredibly polished and tailored, and the design is extremely flattering. I absolutely love the finishing techniques always included in Rebecca Page patterns, and this one was no different with no visible raw edges inside or out. I also love the versatility of this pattern with the different length options and the ability to make it in either knit or woven!
Carmen Brent –
This fun summery dress makes me think of the beach. It looks very intricate with the ties and cutout in the back, but the instructions are easy to follow. You can even wear the ties straight down or criss-crossed. I love it!
Malia Pope –
I absolutely love this dress! Easy pattern to follow and the cut of the skirt is perfect in the maxi length, nice drape and volume without being too full. Made my first one in a jersey knit but already have a second cut out in a woven rayon.
Catherine Champagne –
It was very fast and easy To sew. Next time I will use thinner fabric. My mensurations gives to me xlarge for bust and m for hip. After first sew I was looking like a potatoe bag. So I finally did medium size.
Katarina Vaclavikova –
This is a great pattern, very easy to sew. However, as already mentioned, the position of the pockets is not correct. I would put them 15 cm higher. For me, the length of the dress is good, but I am short – 160 cm. I am also not sure, but the sizing might run large.. I have chest and hips measurements 104 cm and belly 89. I chose XL as per the chart and made Laura Dress in knit, but it might be bit too large. But I dont mind at all as I love it being slightly oversized. I will definitely sew many more and also in vowen.
Laura Wheelis –
This was a fun, different sew! I haven’t sewn with woven in a bit (hate zippers) so this relaxed shift dress was perfect. I made it in a vintage silk from the sixties and it has a great vintage vibe!
Nali Nali –
The Laura is very versatile not only the length can be varied; the choice of fabric will change the look too. I used woven linen cotton for my dress. It is an easy sew but I will recommend making a toile for the perfect fit. Size XXS graded to XS at hip and lengthened by 4”. My height is 5’4”. I will definitely sew a few more!
Veronica Hartwig –
The laura is a great quick sew with easy to follow instructions. First time doing french seams on a garment and this pattern made it easy to learn and follow along. I love how it turned out. The dress length is short at the front but it is a great comfy fit. I made a lounge around dress length in a knit and a woven shirt version. I was between sizes (XL/XXL) and recommend grading if needed as when I graded the dress to XL waist/hips I got a better slimmer fit.
Emilee Elder –
The Laura was such an easy sew (even after a few mishaps on my side)!! I love the slit in the back and think it adds just enough to differentiate it from a normal hi-lo top. The tunic length is perfect to wear with leggings (and it makes me so ready for fall).
Tinie Toanlk –
The quickest sew ever yet yield a very flattering look (20’ using serger). Im in love with laura. You can style the midthigh length with shorts in summer or legging and a scarf for fall. Really love it
Franchesca Delgado Garced –
This was an easy sew for me, with such rewarding results. Thank you so much for this beautiful pattern.
Connie Lusto –
I love versatility of this pattern! It will work with almost any type of fabric, wovens and knits included, and the style is completely effortless with no buttons or zippers. The pattern even includes detailed instructions for sewing french seams, so all fraying edges are neatly hidden when sewing without a serger. The finished product can be easily dressed up or down.
Branka Čelić –
Laura Dress pattern is such an easy sew for beginner in clothes. Especially in woven fabric. The instructions are very clear, detailed and easy to follow (first time made pockets – perfect). I made the longest version (above knee length), but is still to short for me (182cm, almost 6ft tall), but now I have a perfect tunic. I would love to have one more option in pattern which would be at least 100cm longer, so it could really be a dress for tall women.
Deborah Kraft –
I love that you can basically use any fabric for this. I worked with a really light viscose jersey and used the facing option. It turned out even better than expected and looks really really lovely! This is a really fast and easy sew and and entails amazingly detailed instructions.
Deborah Kraft –
Love how quick it came together, and the french seam is just soooo professional. Will make more of it, for sure 🙂
Deborah Kraft –
Simply superb pattern! This is a straightforward pattern for a beginner sewista and produces top class results. Highly recommended!
Bunford Orsi –
This was a very easy dress to make. I chose the ‘above knee’ length. I found it to be a little wide when I’d finished it and would take it in on my next sew. I could see myself wearing this length as a swim suit cover up, but I’d need it to be longer at the front to wear as a dress. It is comfortable and I’d like to make one in a woven in the ‘top’ length. This dress is a very forgiving shape and it would suit most women for a comfortable, casual dress/tunic.
Lauren Clark Hill –
What I love about this pattern is how versatile it is. I made a version in an athletic knit for an oversized workout top but I can make the exact same size in a dressy woven and have a really cute dress. I already have plans for three more in different lengths and fabrics!
Lisa Corriveau –
The Laura dress is quite simple & quick to sew up & I love that it works with both wovens & knits. This comfy, roomy dress is going to be a staple in my wardrobe.
