Amazing quick sew! Love this bag going to make another one! Fits everything I need to go to the beach on weekends and visiting family and friends!!! Love the outside pocket for phone or keys, and inside zipper pocket is good for change or whatever you like!
Marie –
The easiest tote bag that I’ve ever sewn!!
Carol Wolfe-Basines –
I enjoyed sewing this tote bag together, I had fun with the pockets and added some machine embroidery to them and I utilized outdoor patio material for this tote. Quick to sew, will be making more for gifts!
Susan Gough –
Love this pattern. Easy to follow, quick to make. Made it with a Cotton Duck Fabric which made for a nice supported outer.
Franchesca Delgado –
Easy to follow instructions, great bag construction and love the internal pocket with zipper.
Lisa L –
This tote has some great details (the inner zip pocket and key ring holder) that are easily completed with the thorough instructions. I used a heavier outdoor fabric that is going to wipe easily and also didn’t require the interfacing. A fun pattern I will be using again!
Ummul Masakin –
recommended for anyone new in bag making
Chris M Shapiro –
This handy tote bag is a perfect beginner pattern to give a new sewer confidence. It is a great pattern for all sewers. The optional inside zippered pocket keeps valuables secure and the long handles make it easy to carry from the farmers market to the playground!

It was an easy and straightforward pattern to follow.
Karin Williams –
An easy, quick sew and a simple pattern to follow. I was a bit scared of sewing a zipper but it turned out to be a piece of cake with easy to follow instructions. Thanks for yet another great pattern!
Kelly Stokes –
This is such an awesome pattern! Nice and simple for beginners but also extras for those who want to add a bit extra. The straps are nice and long to go over your shoulder properly, or there are options to make shorter straps for kids
Kate Thomson –
Great pattern with easy to follow detailed instructions! I love that the pocket provides a great place to add some embroidery or to showcase a coordinating fabric. The optional inside pocket and key loop are also great features.
Virginie Bissinger –
This pattern is quick to make for a bag of the most beautiful effect. The instructions are clear and the sewing is quick for a perfect finished bag. Several options are possible but the best is to let go in this creation with the outer fabric or the lining, or both!
Andreia de Almeida –
This bag was a super easy make and is a great scrap buster. I made mine with leftover fabric from my Taylor Trench and love it as my new lunch bag

Kelle Lujan –
I’m generally a clothes maker, but every once in a while, it’s fun to venture into something different. My girls needed a tote to carry wet swimming suits back from the local pond and this was the perfect size! I added the optional zipper pocket and a key tab so they could easily store their bike keys, sunglasses, and sunblock. Instructions were clear. and I had no trouble assembling the pattern pieces. If you are looking for something other than clothes to sew, give this tote a try.
Hannah Zemek –
Amazing pattern and such a quality finish. I loved making this pattern
Victoria Williams –
This tote bag is such an amazing pattern- i see many more in my future! It can be used for so many different things by changing up your fabrics and pocket combos!
I was a little intimidated by this pattern before i started (no idea why, the instructions walk you through the entire project!) and once i sussed out my straps (my fabric was too thick to turn but i didnt realise) it was a really quick sew. Its big enough for books, or a day out with the kids-you can fit lots of pop and snacks in!! Anything you want really! This bag isn’t too big like some totes that flap about and you lose all your things in the bottom, and all the pockets help you stay organised.
Ashley Richey-Burdick –
This bag is easy peasy, but so cute when finished! I love the options offered. The fact that the tutorial gives clear instructions for cutting so you don’t have to print is a huge bonus (no one likes to use paper when they don’t need to!) I will definitely be making more of these as gifts. I think it would be fine to add a smidge of padding and use for a laptop. The options are really endless.
Nicole McLemore –
Such a fun, fast sew!!!!! Perfect for so many different uses!
Chaney Baxley Mobley –

Melanie Couture –
I loved the pattern.
It is easy to follow, and has great explanations.
I would add a remember with !!! to make sure our placement for the straps are equal to make sure when you turn your bag your straps are aligned. I did the mistake on the first bag, but not on the third one 😉
Is it really necessary to put 2 interfacing for the same side of the bag? I think it’s a bit much except if your interfacing is really thin. We used only one and the bag is perfect. I will definitely make more of this bag for every occasion 🙂
Paige Pederzani –
Such a cute, quick and easy sew! I used two pieces of scrap fabric and created a bag that perfectly fits my 17 inch MacBook Pro!

Kerry Kirby Wallman –
This tote bag is really versatile, and the options make it really personable. The steps are easy to follow and clearly written. The photos really help for reference. I wish I had used strapping for the straps instead of making my own – I think it gives a cleaner look, but I really wanted it to match my lining. I love this bag and I’m excited to make more for gifts.
Dee Van Dyk –
Super simple pattern to make a lovely tote bag. I went basic – no pockets or zippers. And I used webbing for the straps, making this a really quick sew.
Instructions were clear and easy to follow. My only regret after making it was that I didn’t include an outside pocket. I saw other totes with the pocket and really liked how a contrasting pocket made the bag really pop.
Keeley Jones –

Amanda Pickrell –
What a quick and simple sew! I consider myself an advanced beginner/intermediate sewist, but I ALWAYS print the pattern and follow the tutorial. This time, I only used the “at a glance” cut chart and instructions and was still able to pull off a great little tote! The team at Rebecca Page is so thorough in all the directions! The tote has room for my laptop and papers to grade, and includes an interior zip pocket and 2 exterior pockets. This tote is definitely a win for your favorite teacher or busy professional that needs a cute personalized bag!
Debra Rigsby –

The Tote bag is such an easy sew. I love the size of the bag, it has plenty of room to put lots of things in. You can take it to the beach with your beach towel, sunnies, water bottle, sunscreen with still plenty of room. The inside zip is good so you can put your cash in there and the little key ring clip is great so you don’t need to rummage through your bag trying to find your house key. Perfect for gifts also.
