Make a tote bag with tie straps. The one in the class uses Ankara (African Wax Print) fabric. You can Ankara, or any type of woven fabric like cotton, linen, upholstery fabric or twill (e.g. a fabric which does not stretch). You will learn how to sew a tote bag and a simple method French seam.
