This is an amazing stash-buster! Each bag (except for the biggest size) can fit on a fat quarter for the exterior and a fat quarter for the lining. There is a size for everything: from a small tooth-fairy bag, to a large bag to pack shoes inside. You can use any kind of woven fabric. And the area around the zippers has such a professional finish with the optional zip tabs. Love, love, love!!

Haneke Peeters –
Super easy pattern to sew up! All in one afternoon and I am still a beginner. I omitted the lining in my two pouches which would’ve given so much more structure to them, but I am still super happy and they were the perfect teacher’s day gifts for my daughter’s two teachers!

Karla Henrichs –
I thought this pouch was easy to make and so much fun. I made some out if cotton, with cotton lining. I added fusible vinyl to three if them. This made it harder to turn, but I really liked the idea of water resistant. I also made one from pleather. It seems like a wide variety of material can be used.

I have been waiting for a zipper pouch pattern just like this! I love that it stands up by itself and comes in so many size options. I’m planning to use the largest size to wrap Christmas presents in this year. I also love that the pattern has the square cutouts so you don’t waste fabric when you square the corners. This was a fun, quick, satisfying sew.

I really enjoyed making these. The instructions were very clear and if you take your time they are perfect for a beginner. I have only done 1 zip in the past and was surprised at how easy these were. I especially like the medium size for makeup and the larger is great for a toilet bag. My little ones have requested the XS size for their pennies. I will be making many more of these. They also make a fantastic gift for teachers etc. Added bonus is you get to use up all your scraps for the smaller sizes.

The Zoe Zips are “sew” much fun! I’ve only sewn zippers once with a sewing instructor standing by my side, and the instructions for the Zoe were perfect for adding a zipper. The pouches are quick to assemble, and are so much fun to gift (my 3 year old already claimed hers!). I can’t wait to sew more.

Clare Bowes –
This is a fantastic scrap busting pattern, all of mine have been made out of left-over fabric from other projects.
Really easy to follow step by step instructions take you through to make a lovely lined pouch which can be used for a wide variety of needs. XS is handy size for a coin purse, S as a carrying case for tablets if you need to take medication out and about with you. M is handy for a make-up sized pouch – as is L (if you have lots of make-up). L and is also ideal for a toiletry bag. XL could be made into a handbag or use as a large toiletry bag.
Such a nice sew and quite addictive sew too! I have made 5 so far but have a few more cut out ready to sew ?. Ideal for present ideas too, especially with Christmas just around the corner.
Happy Sewing!

Nadine Simard –
This project was completed by my teenager, great beginner project for inserting zipper.

I love these pouches. I think the XL is too big and the XS is too hard to turn right side out. The other three sizes are great. I made some previously and have them away for Christmas gifts.
Jennifer MacDonald –

Salomé Goncalves –
Very easy pattern, even for beginners I’d say the zipper application is as easy as it gets. The shape allows this small pouch to carry quite a lot of things, so it’s also useful. I only made one because I ran out of zippers, but I’ll definitely make more once stores reopen/I can order online.
Erica Nemnich –
Great awesome quick sew. XS is super tiny so you can make without the zipper and still be useful

Tricia Nguyen –
This pattern is a great way to use up scraps and for a quick gift. I plan on making a few to keep on hand for last minute gifts. I also think it could be a great alternative to disposable gift bags. Instructions are rather easy to follow. I do think a few of the pictures for the zipper should be closer up for those that are learning. Definitely a great design with several sizes for various purposes.
Melinda Bailey –
So easy to follow instructions, suitable for beginners, great results! I love making these little bags and they make great gifts too!
Loesje Shema –
Good instructions, except how the seam travels from the lining-to-lining side, past the zipper, to the outside-fabric-to-outside-fabric side, especially when the tabs are involved. I had to leave gaps at the zipper area, turn the bag right side out, then pull the tabs out and hand-sew the top the the side seams.
Rachel Loper –
Perfect pattern to get into bag making. And there’s a size to fit all of your needs!
Magda Rindmo –
A fun sew, perfekt for gifts just fill them with what you want. The instructions on sewing a zipper is good, even if you never done it before, you will succeed.
Harriëtte Aertse –
Quick and easy pattern especially if you also look at the videos on youtube.
Donna Jones –
I made the zoe zip for my daughter as a make up bag. She was undicided on fabric so she used 4 different skull designs. The pouch sews up quickly, the instructions are clear and the whole thing came together quickly. I used a heavy interfacing so it would withstand a lot of use, bit it would have been better to make the interfacing size minus the seam allowance as they got bulky and difficult to sew.
Vina T. Bilow –
Looking forward to this.
Eline Ghesquiere –
Very clear instructions, so easy to sew up, fast sew. Go to pattern when in need of a present.
Diane Cullum –
A wonderfully useful pattern that can be used to store so many different things for different people. It’s pretty quick to sew (unless you decide to embroider on both sides 😅). I made these for my hairdresser and salon owner.
Urška Filipič –
Great pattern, fantastic for presents.
