You do not own a copy of the TV shows, movies or documentaries you watch, but as long as you have a membership, you have the ability to watch those TV shows, movies and documentaries as frequently as you’d like. If you were to cancel your Netflix subscription, you would lose access to the TV shows, movies and documentaries that you watched while you were a member.

You.Make.Now functions similarly.

When you subscribe as a premium member, you have unlimited access to use the pattern files anytime you’d like and as often as you’d like. If you were to stop subscribing, you would lose access to view and use all premium patterns through the platform.

You will not lose access to any patterns that you already owned or purchased directly from the You.Make. website before or during your membership. These will still be safely in your account area like normal.

If you choose to cancel your subscription you will lose access to any premium patterns that you used or had currently in progress, during your membership. You also will not be able to download or print any pattern pieces for premium patterns.

Opening a pattern in the You.Make.Now platform uses about the same amount of data as loading a website or running a Google search. If you have limited data, a top tip is to load the pattern page you want while you have internet access, and then turn off your mobile data (or put your device into airplane mode). You’ll still be able to click through all of the pattern instructions without using any more data or accessing the internet.

Pattern pieces – The files containing the pattern pieces formatted for US, A4 and A0 are just like a normal PDF. There is a ‘download pattern pieces’ button inside each pattern. You simply click it and the pattern pieces download as a PDF, and open in Adobe Reader. Then you print and assemble them as normal.
