CLASS 6 – Three simple dinosaur art projects by Heather Step

Day Two Supply List
CLASS 1 – Crochet Pig Applique by Kerri Brown
What you will need for this class:
- Any thickness crochet cotton or yarn. ( I used 8 ply yarn which is light worsted in the US and double knit in the UK)
- A crochet hook. (I used a 3mm hook, I use a size or 2 smaller for appliques than I would normally use for the weight yarn.)
- Scissors
- Darning needle to weave in ends
- Sewing thread and needle to stitch the pig together
- Small black beads
- buttons
- felt or bought eyes for the eyes if desired or you could embroider on the eyes
CLASS 2 – Learn to Crochet by Katie Randles
What you will need for this class:
- Yarn (Chunky, Aran or Worsted weight is best)
- Crochet hook (A large size, I use a 6.5 mm in the video)
- Scissors
- A darning needle
- Stitch markers (safety pins work well)
CLASS 3 – How to Sew a Drawstring Backpack by Beth Wood
What you will need for this class:Supplies:
- Fabric (about 2/3 of a yard)
- Fabric pieces
- Front/Back: Cut 2 pieces 14″x19″
- Tabs: Cut 2 pieces 3″ x 2.5″
- Pocket: Cut 2 pieces 6″ x 6″
- Cord (2 pieces, each 60″ long) – 8mm (.3”) macrame cord. A smaller .25” cord should be fine too

CLASS 9 – Absolute Beginner Crochet- Make your first project by Aki
What you will need for this class:
- Yarn – 100 g of any medium weight yarn in any color of choice. Yarn I have used- 1 Skein of Stylecraft Special Aran weight yarn (100 g), it is 100% premium acrylic with yardage- 100 g has 214 yards or 196 m, shade- 1711 (spice) Colorful yarn used for 2nd hat/bag seen- Ice yarns, Cakes Aran 200 g, 100% acrylic, 360 m, shade 56556
- Crochet hook – 5 mm or H size

CLASS 1 – Paper “Stained Glass” Shadow Art by Connie Marie Lusto
What you will need for this class::
- Plain white paper or cardstock
- Black marker: Permanent is best for the black marker to prevent it from spreading into other colors
- Various colored markers: These do not have to be permanent!
- Ruler or other straight edge
- A small, freestanding toy figure to create a shadow for your silhouette ( Toy dinosaur, doll, plastic animals, etc. )
- A stationary light source to create a shadow ( i.e. lamp, or if it’s a nice day outside, the sun! )
- Drop cloth, old newspapers, etc. to protect table
- Black frame or mat to make your finished masterpiece POP! ( Optional )
CLASS 2 – Flippy Chick Plushie by Jennifer Nicolella
What you will need for this class:
- 1/4 yd red felt
- 1/2 yd yellow felt
- Black, white and pink felt remnants
- Polyfil or fabric scraps

CLASS 6 – Reverse Tie Dye by Emily Thompson
What you will need for this class:
- Bleach
- Rubber bands

CLASS 7 – How to Make a Headband by Lurdys Gordon
What will you need for this class:
- Yarn
- A crochet hook that corresponds to the yarn ( I used worsted weight yarn and a size H hook )
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Stitch markers ( Bobby pins or different color of yarn )
CLASS 8 – How to cut and sew apron by Ifeoma Nwokoye
What will you need for this class:
- One yard of a thick (ish) or normal fabrics
- One yard Landen ( Optional )
- Scissors
- Thread that matches the fabric
- Pencil or tailoring chalk
- Measurement tape
- Sewing machine
CLASS 9 – A Lovely Owl in Quilling Paper by Pily Nuñez
What will you need for this class:
- Strips of quilling paper 6 millimeters (1/4 “”) wide by 45 long in the following colors: brown, white, green, black, yellow and pink.Orange strip, 3 millimeters (1/8 “”) wide by 20 centimeters long, for the beak of the owl.All the strips you’ll use are 6 millimeters wide, except for the oranges which are 3 millimeters wide.
- 15 square centimeters cardboard where we will paste the design
- Slotted Quilling Tool
- Tweezers
- Ruler of circles
- Transparent drying glue. The use of a fine tip applicator is recommended so as not to exceed the amount of glue required.

CLASS 1 – Hoop Art – Pear Tree by Agnes Bobak
What you will need for this class:
- Embroidery hoop ( 6 inches or more, the one in the video is 6 inches but as there is no given pattern, the ideas can be adapted for all other sizes )
- Plain fabric about 1 inch larger than the hoop
- Some different buttons ( I used 17, yellow, green and pink )
- Needle and thread/embroidery floss

- Tailors chalk/disapearing ink pen/pencil
- A piece of ribbon ( for 1 bow )

CLASS 8 – Scavenger Hunt Wind Chime Craft by Amanda Arguellez
What you will need for this class:You will need to be creative and try to recycle/reuse any supplies using your surroundings. First you’ll need a paper and pen to write down and make a list for your scavenger hunt!For the Easy Wood Wind Chime:

- A fallen (1) 8-10in stick

What you will need for this class:
- A dinner plate
- Cotton fabric: TWO pieces both 18” long x 15” wide (or 46 cm long x 38 cm wide)
- An woman’s medium sized tee shirt
- Thread
- Scissors for cutting fabric

- Long ruler or measuring tape
- Marking pen
- Sewing machine, with Universal sewing machine needles: 80/12 or 90/14
If you prefer sewing with metric measurements, here they are:
